This game was my childhood! Not sure how it ended up in my PS2 game bin, but me and my older brother played it for hours until the disc finally died, which we then replaced once I had a job and money. It’s frustrating sometimes with the controls, but I still love it

First played the second one then the 3rd a bit. I got the first one online for PS2 and 2 then 3. Pretty fun series. I say the 2nd one is the best in the series.

I'm not the best at explaining the whole process, so I would recommend looking up online instructions on how to run this game specifically with the translation patch.

It's been many years since I have played and beat this game but every once in a while I think about this game because it has left me with more questions than relief when stepping out from the church. The final ending always confuses me... Who was she? Who were her real parents? Why was she immune to the red plague. I wish there was an interview with the game writers.

There’s the infamous Karen/Dog glitch, where you can show your dog to her and build your relationship by 1 xp, with no cap. Try in the Bar for maximum effect. Note: it works in the original game, but sometimes not in the Switch remake. I will go on record as saying HM64 was THE best farming sim game until Stardew Valley. Friends of Mineral Town is alright, it’s just that it offers nothing beyond what 64 does, and the timing was about the same.

I was 9 when i first played it. Might have to find a physical copy or a rom version for my 2Ds. I was really into it but i was stuck near a burning room, couldn't get the water because it was soo haye and those damn centipede creep me out! Its truly a beautiful ost and im sad that i actually sold my copy near a game stop! I REGRET IT SOO MUCH! The art style is a masterpiece but the uncanny texted in blood and the flashes of red is screwing my head at that time. The time consuming I've remember was over 500 hours of gameplay! And i eventually gave up. Wish it had a remastered or a reboot to a newer graphics. Overall im glad you brought this up as a review of your own. Hopefully i can play it again without tutorial and see if i can mastered my way into beating the game again and for nostalgia sakes. 😅

Played this game on the 3DS and was amazed on how the game ran and looked when I played it. Some bosses were hard like one where I had to use the shotgun instead of the pistol because of how long it took to use the pistol and some areas I had to use a guide. Pretty good game for the ds and 3DS.

I played Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance and i liked it. They said this game is similar to that and i want to give it a try. Thanks for the review without being harsh on it just because the game is not considered canon.
