Thousands of serial killers we pass by in our lifetime. How many times have we’ve spoken to them and dodged a bullet.

This is pretty heavy and sad for an Afterschool Special. I just watched it and I cried. Reminded me of when my own Mother died. I miss her so much.

From 14 to 20s, I hitchhike everywhere. Most everyone did. I remember one Horrific story of a girl I went to school with. She actually didn't hitchhike. She was on the side of a street that had hardly no cars on it. It was also starting to get dark outside. Two guys that lived close to me. The parents of one of the guys were both attorneys. These guys picked her up and forced her to get in their car. She was taken to an abandoned house. They tied her up with ropes. They said they laughed at most all they did to her. They also said they were doing PCP all day and by having an ex boyfriend that smoked that crap, it puts you in a whole different dangerous mindset . But that's no damn excuse. These 2 guys tied ger up, beat her with chains, raped her over and over, stabbed ger, shot her twice and burned her body! From what they said she was still alive when she was caught on fire. Thus was in the 80s and with lawyers in both sides of their families the two guys didn't get the death penalty due to a plea bargain. They both got life. The family were well off and these two boys came from a good family and had everything. I blame most of it on PCE/Green, because my boyfriend was crazy after he smoked it. He came home after being gone for 3 days. He said I had the t.v. bugged, tut Ed it off, went in the bedroom and got those wire clothes hangars. He wrapped some newspaper around one and started hitting me with it. I ran out the door and called his brother for help. But my boyfriend was gone by time he gotthere. I had welts all over. But these guys knew what they were doing regardless.

Her mom was a real b**ch, typical silent generation/boomer. I’m glad my parents wasn’t like that too. Mom was from silent generation & daddy was a boomer. However, I had friends whose parents was like that. I use to hitchhike ALL the time back in 80’s & early 90’s. I think back at all the guys that would pick me & my friends up. Anything could’ve happened to us, I even hitched rides by myself. I’m grateful nothing ever happened to me.

I have hitchhiked 3 times in my life and everytime I had a friend with me. ❤ I know that's not any safer, but the third time...let's just say I'm lucky to still be here. And it wasn't a man either, but a group of homophobic girls. Very crazy experience going 120mph on a country road. 😳

Overheated weak carrying groceries i just stole and a man who even looked like danger stopped and picked me up he seemed pretty nice but i quickly thought to be a step ahead of it and said i have to atleast get my purse/more drink from my friend's apt and then we could hang out more..drop me off here and then i went into the building and didnt come out for a very long time until way after he left. So stupid i could had been killed.

The unsolved horrible murder of Dana Bradley in 🇨🇦 on this island is believed to from her hitch hiking in the 80's hit home.. I never thumbed again. Only 2 blocks from me. We were all terrified I drive by I still get visions and chills, still haunts me... They are still out there driving around somewhere. I won't even take a Uber or taxi.
