This must've been before the TAMI show when the Stones had to follow James Brown. After that Mick said"💩I BETTER learn to dance"

Stop saying ‘the first heavy metal song’ This came out in 68. Sabbath, the who, zeppelin were all, already doing their thing in 68. If this came out in 63. 100%. but this song is the Beatles response to what other bands were starting to do.

Jones had a lovely voice and seems far more worldly than the others. How he got mixed up with the others is a real mystery.

you have to wonder if anyone watching this on television was thinking "where are all those backing vocals coming from?" It was a less sophisticated age when it came to stuff like that.
