Very nice! The handle kinda reminds me of my dogs but sack, but hey, looks like it’s comfortable. Do me a favour though, please make sure the sling anchor at the top of the rifle is rock solid. Looks like it is, but just always check it. Rock on 👍

Let me guess, your camera is a go-pro? Heads up, they need to “go” to stay cool, hence the name. Great job.

What size is the wood tour working with ?

It was two 3/4 inch thick pieces of walnut glued together so it’s about 1.5 inches thick in total.

What kind of glue is that?. I have never used a glue where that much is a good thing.
@hudsonhertz10 күн бұрын
It’s gorilla glue, I definitely went a little overboard. The previous one I made was lacking glue and I had to do patch work so I didn’t want to risk it.
@uncletiggermclaren75929 күн бұрын
@@hudsonhertz If I can make a suggestion, you should get a two part wood glue. Not one of the ones with the spray-on part two , but one of the ones you mix up. They make a far superior bond, so strong that when you try to pull them apart, the glue doesn't fail, the actual wood tears apart. And they will also make the finished article stiffer, there is no give in them. The gorilla glues are always rubbery, in my experience. And as a bonus, the two pot glues are water-proof, and if you wait till it is completely set, you can sand it like wood. And it will fill any moderate gaps on your join surfaces, I think.
