Yes, I didn't do that vs Genichiro because he's one of the bosses that can't just tank through the flurry part so it's easy to get the whole attack off on him. It also feels bad to use only half the attack and still get charged the full amount of Emblems lol

I would use High Monk more often if it came with super armor but that final kick just gets interrupted so often and it pisses me off 🤣

They do wait their turns, for all kinds of different attacks. Sometimes they will attack at the same time but usually it's because you're close to both of them at the same time. If you keep your distance through most of the fight they wait their turns for the vast majority of it

@@umbek the arena is too small to keep distance from them at the same time though. They do have sequential attacks, like the overhead slam from the headless into the jump from the other one, but it’s exceedingly rare to see them “take turns” and the only consistent strategy I’ve found is the aforementioned scream-retreat-firecrackers-attack tactic. Every other tactic is mostly luck based.

@@sablepaul441 I've done this fought dozens and dozens of times and I see them take turns very consistently every time as long as I keep my distance, and I don't agree the arena is too small to do it. I don't feel luck has much factor when I go into this fight

@@umbek since we’re both speaking from experience and you clearly have more of it, I feel no need to argue further, as I, too, might eventually come to the same conclusions. That’s not really the point of my comment anyway, I wasn’t critiquing your opinions or your videos, I was just trying to express my frustration at the way this fight has been treating me my last 6-7 playthroughs and give people a very consistent strategy of dealing with this fight. Either way, your videos are great, you have an awesome channel, keep it up, would love to see more!)

@@umbek I've seen others play the randomized mod and it is so hilariously difficult for them,, for example,, the crickets were a bunch of isshins and genichiros and sprinkeld in with armored warriors 😂

@umbek yes but jump off of them backwards to make some distance so when they shield rush you they don't hit you and stagger you
