I've loved the Meyers 200 ever since I first saw it in the 1959 Aircraft Year Book that my Dad brought home when I was 5. I pored over that book for years and had alot of it memorized. RIP Dad. Mark E, thanks for the memories. I am a student pilot in a Bristell NG5 right now, but would LOVE a ride in a Meyers at some point in my life.

Great vids!!! loved the one you did on becoming familiar with the KAP 140 autopilot any chance you can put together one on IFR flying with the KAP 140 and the G1000.

We flew a bay tour yesterday on 9-9 also and were denied the Bravo transition northwestbound, but we were able to get one at 3500 on the way back, S and W of the bay shore. On each request we used the names of the new class B transition routes and the controllers seemed to not know what we were asking for, and instead gave us the same transition instructions as we had been given prior to the chart change last month. We were scratching our heads wondering why they bothered to add all of those nice transition routes to the chart if they’re not going to use them...

Very nice! Thank you. Just finished my BFR a couple of weeks ago after 14 years away from flying. Next week I'm going to work on my landings. What used to be all greasers are now horrible and scary. I have to smooth them back out before taking any passengers. I've already turned down a couple of people until that's done and I feel comfortable myself. It'll come back I'm sure.

What plane were they flying? It almost went into a spin in nothing but a second.

That looked like a Cessna to me. That is the point of the lesson: in a power on stall you must use rudder to keep the wings level, not ailerons. If you use ailerons and not enough rudder one wing will completely stall and a portion of the other wing will still be generating lift. This will cause the airplane to rapidly turn in the direction of the completely stalled wing.

Yeah, holding the center line perfectly is not that easy, especially with a lot of crosswind. I'm still working on perfecting it.

Just couldn't help notice that the student seatbelt crossing her neck like that is quite dangerous in case of a crash landing.

Very good demonstration and explanation. It's kind of sad how little I get to say something like that compared to other instructors on KZfaq. Your students are lucky, keep up the good work!

You got a hell of a lot more instruction than I did. Mine just got in the cockpit and told me head to the runway, I was like.. "Uhhhhhhhhh"..... When you are too poor to buy the yoke and rudders for a flight simulator you screw yourself building bad habits from using a joystick with twist rudder.
