Maybe use a roller and sponge or rag rather than paintbrush?

you need to either use gesso or paint layers off white paint until u cant see the canvas texture anymore, it not the paints fault :p its that you didnt prepare it correctly as to the result you wanted. It doesnt matter if the canvas says primed when you buy it, if you dont want to see the texture of the canvas YOU need to prime it until it is smooth. If it takes to many coats of gesso/white paint (or if u want another color ofc) Or if you just prefer a supersmooth finish then you can also use sculpting/modelling paste :) use the squeeqee or a catalyst or whatever to smooth it out. The paste is thicker so you can get it done in just one layer :)

I use all purpose dry wall compound, you can buy a huge bucket for cheap and then you put a smudge and spread around a thin layer. After it dries I like to sand it down with an 80grit or just wipe off excess with a bar towel. After that, boom! You’re good to paint with acrylic, I’m not sure about oil though.

Thank you so much for the video you shared me. Your creativity and talent truly shine through in every frame, and I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to view your work. The video has inspired me in ways I never imagined. I was wondering if you could provide me with some tips on how to transfer a sketch onto a canvas and protect it. Your expertise would be greatly appreciated. Thank you again for sharing your gift with me. I look forward to your response and am to see what amazing projects you come up with next. Warm regards, Mara lynn

Brilliant! I’m doing one for the first time which has some intricate details which I’m finding difficult to do with paint. I do a lot of colour by number with pencils and I also use the App Sandbox which is a lot of fun.

If you use different size squeegee like smaller ones, you could circle around the canvas.

I used to print a lot on machines that used squeeges attached, now if you look carefully on the edge of the squeegee you will find on the edge of the squeegee you will find one edge smooth for when you want an ordinary print but if you turn the squeegee over you will find the edge is sharp for more sharper picture. Try it out and you will definitely see a difference.

IMO Jurassic park characters should be open source since they are just carbon copy’s of real dinosaur bones which nobody can copyright….can they?
@IvyLilyCreativeАй бұрын
I don't think I continued this experiment long enough to really understand what they want. I established that if I use their material or specifically the logo as a reference, it's copyright infringement (even though you can literally find different versions of the logo sold on Redbubble right now), but if I use other references, then it's not considered fan art at all.

The label on the glue literally says "dries transparent". 🤷🏻 Also, the snow photo was actually from today (it's still snowing now), I wrote yesterday's date by accident. Watch next → Painting on primed vs unprimed clay flower pots: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/nrGboqafsLyonWQ.html

I tried this using liquid acrylic paints and they were too thin. They just made a mess. What brand of paints do you use?
@IvyLilyCreativeАй бұрын
Yeah, I can image that they might just spread out on their own. I used 3 different brands/type of acrylic paint in this. Plus Color hobby paints and Mont Marte metallic paints were thicker and more opaque and then the Crelando paints more transparent.

EDIT: I was talking how you can use the same files for puzzles on Society6, but literally the day after this video went up, I noticed Society6 had deleted all my designs except 10 of them. It's no longer free to have a Society6 shop. There's a monthly fee now, if you want to have more than 10 designs up. What a fun technique to try! I've never seen this before. I love how affordable this is. I also appreciate how you explained everything step by step and your honesty throughout the process. The 1st one totally does look like a group of people. I also like how you curved the second pull. Art is all about experimenting. Thanks for the inspiration!
