I really wanted a big 1/5, was really looking into the Vigilante... But after thinking about it more a 1/8 would probably be more practical to have and the kraton 6s is looking good. I started with 1/16 and it's just too small 1/12 is too small, 1/10 is okay but... Kinda small still, I'm hoping the 1/8 is just right

I had that problem with 2 of my batteries with the kraton 6s… I had to turn the low voltage cutoff down to a lower cutoff level🤷🏾‍♂️👌🏾 but it work oddly and didn’t have that problem with the same batteries in the notorious 6s

Just ordered the kit and same combo. Have the Traxxas taller center diff gears and going to run a 30 spur an 46 pinion. Should be pretty quick on 8s and I do have 12s batteries after I get used to it

Do vigilante vs xmaxx at the pit or on really rough terrain. It would be cool to see which one can go over more stuff

The xmaxx is so damn good! I printed a front and rear bumper mount out of TPU, those are the only parts I’ve ever broken from some TERRIBLE crashes. TPU bumpers are much better at absorbing shock and much more durable

hey nezzy i havnt seen ya in a while i recently got body caps for my rc's so now that they are clip less without those stupid body pins which is eaiser so for me so now i just unscrew them what days do work at that hobby shop sometimes when i go there on the weeknds u arent there thats why i havnt seen i hope to hear back from you soon hows the rc driiving going i still watch your Vids.

Try shimming the hubs, too much slop out of the box puts a lot of strain on the bearings. I needed to add shims to every corner and 2 corners needed 0.4mm which is a lot of lateral load for even a good bearing.

You should take off the wheels bar, because with it on, it handles like my 3s slash 2wd

I really like the Fireteam. It was my first non Traxxas RC and what led me to get rid of all but 2 of my Traxxas vehicles. My collection is much bigger now and has brands from 10 or more manufacturers. Of all the rigs my Fireteam isn't the biggest, fastest, or best handing and is far from most expensive but it's the best combination all around basher i know of.

That's funny you mention Thunder RC cuz I just bought one today because of watching his videos I just had to have one absolutely love this truck I have the x-maxx I have the xrt I'll tell you what I love this truck I just wish it did wheelies LOL I'm running 8,000 milliamp 130 C and this thing rips it seems to be handling the power just fine no overheating issues whatsoever very impressed with Redcat now I feel like I got my money's worth this truck is a animal I love it
