How do you know the clockspring is the problem? I am looking to install a raptor wheel on my 2015 platinum, but some of the buttons don't quite match. I was hoping to swap the individual buttons, if that is even possible - is it? If not, Perhaps I will consider using the raptor buttons even though they are marked incorrectly. Is it a button issue or definitely a clockspring issue?

I have a 2023 hybrid xl working perfectly, the only issue is the radio sync 3, it downloads the update but never installs them .. do someone have the same issue?

My battery was still good, but after reading you should be using an AC Delco (or equivalent) agm, I decided to replace it with one from the Chevy dealer. Well I don't know what that stupid battery did to my volt, because it threw 10 million check engine lights, and now I can't charge the main battery . Why.

I cant understand why Ford is blocking these functions. I have enabled the eco/sport option and windows control by the remote control. So, everything is in there. Ford must enable all of these option for an extra. Does not make any sense block them have you tried to talk to Ford in the US? Thanks for sharing. Greetings from Brazil

I have a 2016 F150 and I have a complete failure of all buttons on the steering wheel and the turn signal. The only function that works that is controllable in the steering column is if you turn the wipers to high, the wipers still work. Replaced the clock spring using your great instructions and there was no improvement. What is the next thing to try?

You should bullet proof it. Look that up on KZfaq and you find out people mod it with a bolt head so the plastic doesn't wear down

Bought my 2018 with 20,000 miles. 70,000 warranty…at 74,000 I had to put a new motor in $5,000 86,000 transmission went out. $3500 20,000 miles later it’s going back for transmission a 4th time. Still owe 7k on the car and I’ve spent 8500 on repairs to a car with 106k on it 🤔 Absolutely ridiculous..for would not budge on price of the engine only being 4k over warranty. FORD motor company. Your customer service sucks just as bad as quality of Ford vehicles lately 🖕

confirming. I used router to widen Kobalt's bat grows. Works just fine on my Kobalt and on Snapper. Using BS charger and it works just fine. I'm using BS batteries on Kobalt hand-held blower and Kobalt bat - on Snapper mower. On a separate note, Lowes Kobalt backpack blower took BS battery without modifications out of the box. So there may be other dual brand tools that need no modifications. Though backpack blower required a lot more juice than a 2ah bat can deliver and needed a bat change every 8 minutes.

Thanks for still helping people. I have a regular gas burner 2024. Based off the comments, seems like a common problem across year model and trim package. It's a Shame Ford leaves it to good hearted guys like you to show us how to put a bandaid on their software glitch. Mine didn't start acting up until it sat in the 92° sun in Tennessee.

It's criminal that ford and other dealers don't recommend trans fluid change every 30 to 36 thousand miles. Both our car owners manuals say it doesn't need changed until 100 thousand miles! Unbelievable! This plus the fact that the trans doesn't have a serviceable filter is just asking for serious trouble.

Question, did you have to clear a code for the airbag? I know everything is installed properly but I have a ligth.

Do not us an impact to lower your spare tire.... You will break the crank mechanism for sure

Saw another video that didn’t work for me (I only had 1 fob) and bought 2 more oem refurbished ones for $53 each on eBay and $110 and this video later and I have 3 functional fobs now! 👍🏼 For anyone doing this and having an issue, you HAVE to wait the 10 minutes (x2) to do it. I put a timer on my phone and did the door open and door close to light up the screen again after 10 minutes to have the proper message show up
