My kids great father owns this land. They usually go visit during the summer and spend a week there. I my self have been there with my ex husband and let me tell you this place is haunted. I have heard and seen apparitions, it's definitely scary at night.

Thank you for this video. I think it was so interesting. The town actually had more buildings than I expected. To think of all the activity that it once had!

Don't forget to bring a nice mirror on these adventures as reflecting the sunlight down the hole is the best way to take a look

In refence to the Drill bits and of the sharpening, they built a forge, and would wait until those things cherry red, then there was probably 2 men dressing these bits as it's called, with sledgehammers, and they also had a gauge to make sure that the bits don't get sort of mushroomed out a little, but the gauge is just a reference to keep the same width of the bit going in the hole!

Thank you for sharing this! (My legs are aching just watching you climb those stairs! 🤣) I'm listening to The Historian (awesome horror novel centered on Vlad Tepes) and there is a scene involving this castle in it's current state. It was cool to see what it really looks like! ☺️

I can't help to think that it ended badly for the original peoples of these dwellings (of course I wouldn't really know) it's just the vibe I get. These structures were already long abandoned before the Old West expansion.
