We're discussing the book "How the Irish became White..." When our Irish immigrants first came to America they were discriminated against by the White Anglo Saxon Protestants. The same thing happened to our Italians and European Jews who immigrated to America. In this book the reader is shown how immigrant groups who came to America in the late 1800s and early 1900s were eventually "permitted" to operate in aspects of America after that group had members to demonstrate "Anti-Black" behavior and discrimination.

I have coloquially named my daily peek into antiblackness my 'world wide antiblackness tour', after noticing that the videos were listing country after country and region after region, across the globe. However, -after learning about how there is a history of immigration becoming an *easier* process, once the newcomers don antiblack postures -after being reminded, a few days ago, about antiblack sentiments that travel with Latine immigrants -after hearing, a month or two ago, about how African immigrants are put into 'nicer neighborhoods away from Black Americans' I'm realizing that the antiblack world tour is optional, When it is brought to me. 🚶🏿

Well I guess Coretta Scott King was racist too: In a 1991 letter to Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-UT), Coretta Scott King and other black community leaders argued that illegal immigration would have a devastating impact on the black community. "We, the undersigned members of the Black Leadership Forum, write to urge you to postpone introduction of your employer sanctions repeal legislation until we have had an opportunity to report to you what we believe to be the devastating impact the repeal would have on the economic condition of un- and semi-skilled workers-a disproportionate number of whom are African-American and Hispanic..."

The term for hatred towards immigrant groups that was used in the discussion was Xenophobic, not Racist. Coretta Scott King wasn't incorrect in her letter. Would it be safe to assume that you're responding to the title and not the full content?

Possible misinterpretation. Our team is not Pro-Trump or Anti-Trump. We're not Pro-Biden or Anti-Biden. We're B-1. We place the interests of Blacks in America before any politician or any party. Please do not use the terminology “caucasian.” Just say “white(s).” The “caucasian” term does not originate from Caucasus Mountains as people claim. Instead, that term originated when a European presented three categories: caucasoid, negroid, and mongoloid. “Mongoloid” is also a false and harmful term. There is not solid evidence of the origins of humans which is why anthropologists, historians, and scientists continually research, and religions theorize human origins. Fact remains, the land was eventually divided by water into a continent, called “Africa” continent, and eventually put (often forced) into nations. This process for hundreds of thousands of years-potentially more than a million years-is not synonymous with the Africa/Africans who became categorized in the past five centuries as racially negro then racially colored then racially black. Most Black people around the world are of immediate African descent (“immediate African descent” distinguishes Africans from the theories of human origins) and have the large populations around the world primarily due to TransAtlantic slavery, followed by global trade and chosen migration. I have 20 years of teaching the sociology of race and race and ethnic relations, and providing more than a century of writings. Part of reducing scams and reducing frauds is to reduce the use of false history, false terms, and conspiracy theorists/theories designed to harm Blacks who do not read factual books and factual articles. This includes targeting Blacks on either side of extremes and falsehoods: (side 1) anti-Africa Blacks who want to have any identity that is not African or (side 2) pro-Africa Blacks who want to be African without African facts-realities-cultures.

@OurBlackEmpowerment19 күн бұрын

@@OurBlackEmpowerment it would be the best if we can vote for a person thats not tied ot affliated with any bi-partisan group. ( example independent) . The voting down ballot isnt the best option for the grass roots blacks because when it comes to asking for funding, it will still go through a bipartisan group. Whats happening now with the conscious community, is that they are tired of being connected to the same bird but different feather. We want grass root people to represent us.

Some say Africa is the birthplace of mankind, but not everyone agrees, especially, Caucasians, Mongoloids, Jamaicans, and The Indigenous, American Indians, (never to be confused with foreigners of the gubbament construct, called Native Americans), just to name a few. As we learned today, just because someone has a DR. in front of their name doesn't mean they know everything about everything, and everyone, especially in the areas of ever changing science, Family Genealogy and myths about Black people. It's my experience, that Caucasians and Mongoloids have been some of the biggest scammers and liars in the history of mankind, causing many Indigenous people, particularly those in the west or the US of America, to be in the broken state that some of us are in, today. Once again, thank you for a wonderful presentation. TTFN.

Thank you for interviewing me and providing this clip. In addition to utilizing resources funded through our taxes and non-funded resources that are beneficial, we must invest Black time, Black knowledge, and Black resources to develop our culture, our knowledge, and our resources. We do not originate as “oppressed people” and we are not an “oppressed people.” Do not adopt that identity. Do not teach that identity to future generations of our people. Unfortunately, many Blacks over the generations feel offended when we teach this approach taught to our people for centuries. Instead of understanding this approach as self-development and collective-development, many Blacks misinterpret this as an attempt (1) to impress non-blacks, (2) to beg non-blacks to not overtly and covertly harm us, and (3) a conservative and Republican tactic to pretend there is no such thing as centuries of anti-blackness and racial inequities. This is where I want our people to read more, interact more, and learn more. Do not rely on schools, governments, and even organizations that give you reading lists. Learn that local and national Blacks have encouraged Black families and Black collectives to shape and control Black cultures. There are Global Black similarities to this approach. This means we love each other, contribute to each other, challenge each other, and demand from each other. Famous examples that sometimes offended our people were from W.E.B. Du Bois and Marcus Garvey.

We can use situations like this to create the leverage that most of US don't think we have or can obtain. "most of US are D1" - True Indeed. However, those of US who are B1 will lead the way over time and over consistency. The history of most movements demonstrates that it begins with a few.
