Recruiting down bad lol. How about letting people that are already in the Navy that have previously disenrolled from the pipeline go back? Seems like that’s why people don’t want to try because if they fail then they are in the needs of the Navy..rather then joining the army, Failing let’s say RASP for example, you just go back to 11B and can absolutely try again in a year. But if you fail BUDS u will have to do a full contract up to 6 years. So Make it easier for those guys to go back to NSW

What little shooting we do at Great Lakes, I was shocked when I was invited to try out for UDT. I passed the timed swim, treading water, timed run & pull ups, sit ups, all that stuff. Next day went for UDT physical & my eyes didn't pass? Offered me another option, but went on to A School Radioman. I always wondered what that other option was??

From 1987 to 1990 I was a chief engineer and a Patrol Boat. Officer at. SBU-20 the boats that we had, were Mark IV Sea Spectors we were what is now called a SWWCC our training was about trying to keep up with the seals and become experts at small arms and using the boats in combat
