Most Frogs benefit from UVB but the albinos will get eye damage from UVB unfortunately so I don’t run UVB with the albinos. You could keep small peaceful fish with the frogs but it is quite possible the frogs well try and eat the fish in the shallow water. as a rule frogs don’t try and eat fish and deeper water but if there’s a small fish in front of them while they’re sitting in the shallows, they can try.

@JoannaDruitt-t9u most pet shops / Aquariums should stock red eyed tree frogs and other small species. I’m not too sure who breeds them down there unfortunately..

It’s a common misconception that tank raised fish don’t need certain water conditions. But ideal pH and other water parameters still matter. Some wholesalers provide a different GH and pH for their fish and others just don’t care. But keeping fish in their ideal parameters helps with their immune systems and overall health. Think of it sorta like ideal temperature,It makes a huge difference. Fish have to evolve into different water conditions they can’t just be raised in a different pH and magically be fine in it.some fish can tolerate better, But overall heath is compromised long term.
