This is an interesting consideration, I've heard good things about the university but I'm not sure how good their course structure is. The experience is definitely a good bonus and will boost your chances of securing the role you want in marketing much sooner. Good luck on your journey! 🤞

To be honest the location doesn't always matter these days because we're way more connected through the internet. It's one of the many wonders of digital marketing. Of course if you have noticed that the degree from overseas carries more weight elsewhere then it could be worth considering, but it comes with a price tag since you're then talking about moving for a year or two.

Thanks for that. If you are using a different countries SEO do you have to type it in their language or do you type in English and the clever wires translate that for you ? If so I would have to use a translate tool and then copy and paste the word into the browsers box.

Great question. So your display language isn't forced to match up with the query you're attempting to search. So if you search in Spanish, the search engine is smart enough to give you the results based on what it knows users searching in Spanish are looking to find. It can return different language search results since it considers your initial query. Does this make sense?

I tried to use it on search campaign but then when I try to add the custom segments I saved.. its not showing up ..even I use the same terms "custom_segmentd"

For search campaigns there is an easier way to do this. I'll upload a tutorial on this soon but what you want to do is create a Search Campaign and simply add in the [Exact Match] keywords of your competitors so you can bid on them whenever a user searches for it. Let me know if this works otherwise, I'll get the tutorial up to help with this.

Does this only work for video views? i set mine up to the T followed your lead all the way, then set up performance max ad, but doesnt seem to come up under saved segments :(

First off, I'm glad you're trying to implement this. It will work for Google Search Ads and not just Video Views because if you notice at around 1:20 when creating Custom Segments, it asks how you want to target the audience. The way it will target will be slightly different based on the format you want to use i.e. video or search but you can target competitor traffic well enough either way. Let me know how it works out for you and if you have any further questions.

Hey! I think it's a good idea, you seem like you're trying to get a balance between learning from the platforms you want to work on and then get a job to refine your practice. It's a good idea to balance experience and theory so I don't see why this wouldn't work.

I think this is also a great idea and also one I have suggested in a past video. Honestly, so long you build the experience and you learn the systems and frameworks you need to, you'll be able to get into it properly.

For Iphone you will have to go to Google itself and see if the option pops up for you there. I myself use an Android so you can head over to Google and then it gives you Language options and Location in the settings area.

Look, there is a solution that I knew. You must not log in with any email in the browser you are using. At that time, you will find the punch line visible and you will be able to actually change the country. Otherwise, you will not find it.@@goldtraderzayn

They have updated it since and I can release another video about this. Even if you aren't logged in, the "settings" option appears on the bottom right. Then you select Other Settings and head over to Language and Region. Hold this helps and let me know if that works.

Hi. I am an African and am considering taking a masters in the UK or other parts of Europe. I am particularly considering courses that have placement years. My thinking is that I would network better and find it easier to get a job anywhere. I already have a few certifications in digital marketing. I would like your opinion, would it be worth it? What would you advise, knowing all you do now?

I do think this is a fantastic question - it definitely sounds familiar since I went through a similar situation myself however I reside in the UK so it was a little easier. I would recommend it if you know you can manage the course and expectation of it once enrolled. However, an alternative would be getting an internship right out the gate - have you considered this? Imagine if you could work remotely for those reasons, would that still fit into your plans. Just something to think as moving countries isn't something small.

I agree with you. The certificates or certifications are just for added knowledge. People who excel in anything digital (digital marketing, social media advertising, social media mgt) are people who take social media as a hobby. They are always creative with content, and they have the highest engagements on their pages.

Glad you found it helpful. I don't work as a paid intern anymore, that was a really long time ago but it was at a marketing agency. Some companies advertise their need for a paid intern so it's worth looking at some job boards too.

I think it depends on what you want to study. I'd never think it's a great idea to study something you don't want to get into. It's important to test and explore different areas - yes, but I'd recommend stickking with Accounting and Finance if that's what you enjoy. If you just want to do a Master's in something, why not make it easy for yourself and take it up in an area you're familiar with.😉

Good question. Digital marketing is lucrative globally, to be frank. A general digital marketing master's degree in the UK is around a year (and 2 if you're doing a placement year). Also, the cost varies from institution to institution and per course so I would check different universities and their course fees. Hope this helps.
