from watching this i think he (Lliam) has a very legitimate shot to make the roster and make an impact as there's several spots open!

He runs so upright he’s almost leaning backwards. Don’t think I’ve ever seen a receiver run quite that high, but his quickness is very good…he honestly looks almost as quick as Douglas in drills.
@patsstats2 ай бұрын
His initial quickness is very close to, if not equal. Plus, his redirection ability is comparable. Him and Douglas are really the only guys on the roster that move like that. He might stick around to be Pop insurance.

The most he does is the Practice Squad. But Who Knows.

Niners might’ve got a sleeper here. He had an impressive rookie camp from what the reports say. He stills needs a lot of work but the athletic ability for the big TE is there. With Kittle, Thomas, and Pline developing the Niners got a solid TE room…

@reginaldbolden58642 ай бұрын
I think you have a point at moving to safety,but my nephews true position is outside
@patsstats2 ай бұрын
I think his natural position is on the perimeter. But, I also believe he can play just about anywhere unlike most of the other CBs. Zay is a comprehensive DB. I'm rooting for him.

Interesting I didn't know you had your own channel. I've been talking about Bolden as a gem 💎 that Bill stashed. Isaiah Bolden and Alex Austin along with Marcus Jones, John Jones and Christine Gonzalez I'm exited with Judan back and Barmores emerging

@@jamiemcdonald4279 he needs timec2 work on mechanics. He looks better but will he be better. Pats aren't winning anything this year and will be picking top 3 or 5 again next draft

Great video Pats Stats! You breaking down the mechanics with attention to detail is superb. Feel like I actually learned some stuff today! Maye just needs more correct practice reps

The shoulder shrug thing reared it's ugly head when he under duress or nervous. Hopefully it's just a matter of him recognizing things quicker and getting more confident with experience.

If they can get drake to draw his arm up instead of back then his release will be slightly quicker, but if not then I’m not too worried about his motion right now. But I will say that his release seems slightly faster than what it was in mini camps.
@G.O.Y.E.M2 ай бұрын
I agree.. The kids a baller and I'm not putting him down either but his wind up is more like a baseball throwing motion then a QB. Marino was the extreme opposite but if have a strong arm that's all wasted motion and puts the ball in harms ways. He's got good coaches so they have a plan for him maybe their not overly concerned with it if he's still throwing like that.
@girardedward2 ай бұрын
Drake’s improvement has been good. I hope they slow him down a bit so Maye refines his mechanics. With smoothness comes more accuracy and quick releases.
@jamesdemaio2652 ай бұрын
He's also 21 and has alot of time to grow. Brady and Mahoms didn't start right away either and they were older than Drake if I'm correct.
@johnhaversack16342 ай бұрын
If anyone thinks THIS Patriots staff can fix Maye....better think again...They cant fix themselves let alone a rookie QB.
@johnhaversack16342 ай бұрын
Fixing Drake Maye....Patriots plan-Defensive HC/inexperienced OC in Van Pelt/worst backup in the league Brissett....alternative....offensive HC or a winner in Harbaugh/Rams OC from an offensive backround/sign a FA QB who can teach/play keep the competitive until mid/late season.
