So there's a cruise known as JoCo Cruise, which started out as a fan cruise for singer-songwriter Jonathan Coulton, but has turned into basically a nerd summer camp at sea, featuring musicians, writers, actors, comedians, cartoonists, sometimes even Lego master builders, and all sorts of events (both run by official JoCo Cruise guest performers and by regular attendees), crafting, gaming, costuming, etc. There's a lot going on at all times, but every night there is also a main concert featuring some of the official performers - actually, the same concert is repeated twice because only half of us can fit into the theatre at once, so we are split into 'red' and 'gold' teams for these concerts. At the beginning of each main concert are 'Morning' announcements (although it is evening) just telling us any important information we might need to know. This is a video of the morning announcements on the Monday evening main concert for the gold team. You're here because you couldn't bring yourself to get off KZfaq and do whatever you think you're supposed to be doing. You've got all the way to 'announcements at a concert on a theme cruise you've never heard of', so your willpower is probably really flagging. So here's a stranger on the internet giving you an extra kick: Go drink some water, eat something, go to bed, get back to whatever creative pursuit you'd rather be spending your time on, or whatever it is you need. I think I bought a CD from them at that concert, so I don't know if it's available online. The album is just called "Lucas" so that doesn't help with searching for it.
