My gyro seems to always be on no matter what position the switches are in. Also the control rates are the same no matter the position. The elevator will not self level on pitch. It does level on roll. Flys good, but annoying that I can’t turn off the gyro.

I have rc EVERYTHING planes, choppers, drones, cars,tanks that smoke and shoot shit even a rc bird. I’ve built a couple sweet airboats using various airplane engines and a nitro powered speed boat that goes close to 90 mph. Even a boat that goes 90mph was fun for about 15 min, unless this boat in the video can shoot, blow stuff up or go at least 50mph I can’t imagine it would be very fun. My stoned 2 cents worth right there

These models are plug and play. You need to provide your own receiver. All receivers bind up differently, but by the time your ready for an aircraft like this you will have a protocol and receivers you know how to bind and program

Hi Wes, has anyone experienced loss of power due to defective ESC causing loss of power to a fan. I had 2 flights where I encountered this issue pulling to the left. After landing I did routine check of power, control surfaces rates and all appeared well. On its third flight just after takeoff the plane reached procedure turn height. The left esc had to go to zero causing a catastrophic counterclockwise spin into the bay for total loss and unrecoverable. I contacted customer support for their understanding, so this issue doesn't continue. There only respond was you win some and lose some attitude with a generic response terrible to RC community. Even with that I purchased the new V3 F16 don't ask me why? Customer service must not actively fly RC or just don't care to understand the issue. I'm flying RC models +30 and still compete in Advance AMA Pattern, and I was an original nitro ducted fan pilot. This was not in any way pilot error. I hope this is not a chronic issue, and just one of a kind. Your respond would be helpful and appreciated. Thank you

Totally agree with the exorbitant pricing. One ship they carry you have to install your own servo to make the turrets move and that model was > $1,000

Comparing these to foam models is comparing apples to the farthest thing from an apple you could imagine. Completely different manufacturing processes.

Will it help if I changed the 3 foam Tomcats to TWO giant scale 2000mm balsa Black Horse Spitfires instead? Is that closer to your apple now?

Beautiful ship- love how they glide thru the pond…A bit on the pricy side but worth the $$$$$..I have two destroyers and the PT 596. I use stick on tire weights -Amazon- stack them on the keel, close to CG… or dive belt 1lb lead bags work as well for ballast … Installed 35 turn injora motors in the PT, the 120amp esc stays cool n boat gets up n boogies- scale speed is effortless

Your videography is spectacular, congrats. This is a nearly perfect beginner helicopter. After feeling out the basics, gaining orientation, etc. practicing more advanced flying SAFELY is a goal and this heli's new "altitude recovery" feature allows us to do this stress free. Let me briefly outline this new feature found in the latest version of the FlyWing software (version 2.0, downloadable from the FlyWing website): You can preset a desired altitude in the software where the FW450 AUTOMATICALLY switches back to GPS from 3D mode when you drop below this selected, preset altitude. In other words, I'm up trying some new maneuver in 3D mode (above 20' is my preset "safe" altitude barrier) and I make the inevitable screw up, lose orientation, my brain is mush and the beautiful green v.3 is about to make a huge, smoking hole in the desert.......but wait!!! As soon as the model drops below 20', it AUTOMATICALLY switches back to GPS mode and corrects, hands off, saving the aircraft. Extraordinary! Amazing! Us old guys have been waiting for this for years...(please emphasize this feature in your next FW450 review) Thanks.
