Why don't you try getting a job at McDonald's instead of doing this bullshit. You want to help people go volunteer at a homeless shelter.

My god do I agree with you about how shit it has become. This was my era of wrestling as well. I didn't see the Owen Hart tournament thing with Darby Allen but yeah, that sounds so uncalled for. I understand she is pissed but I wish his widow would allow him into the Hall of Fame. He so deserves it.

Favorite WM's 5,7,3 in that order. Summerslam 1988 is all time favorite PPV. I love Summerslam 1989 as well. Survivor Series 1990 and Royal Rumble 1991 are favorites from the big 4.

I had been out of wrestling for a long time and back in 03 at a Wal Mart and bought this exact issue. Hogan is the greatest champion, brother! No shit talking, just an opinion from a kid who lived through it in the 80s. I loved the WWE when I got back into it in 2003-through about 2006 wrestlemania time. Love the channel Andrea!

Bruce created the Brother Love gimmick himself (Pitched it to Vince & got approved) and his show helped get a lot of feuds started. Most of us could not stand him at the time, and that's exactly what Bruce wanted.

I remember how shocked I was watching SummerSlam to see Diesel and HBK with the Tag Titles, since it was supposed to be Headshrinkers vs. IRS and Bigelow for the belts. Also crazy to think that in 1994 these PPV program magazines sold in stores and now go for ridiculous money on eBay.

Great Video! I watched till the end! As someone who's very much a wrestling mega fan and only stumbled across the Von Erichs after watching The Iron Claw as I was born in the late 90's and they were before my era. This was really great. I've been watching a lot of older videos of their matches and it has been really amazing. Thanks for making these videos when you show old photographics its very soothing and nostalgic.

This was a bit of a roster transition period for the WWF. There were a couple of guys originally booked for this PPV but they left the company in the weeks leading up to the event. JYD was supposed to be on Jake Roberts team, and he got replaced by B Brian Blair, who then got replaced by perennial B house show jobber Scott Casey. Don Muraco was supposed to be on Warriors team, but he left weeks prior and got replaced by Jim Brunzell who was now relegated to singles competition after the Killer Bees got broken up. This magazine is interesting in that regard because it shows that it went to print after Muraco and JYD left the company, but not before B Brian Blair left and was replaced by Casey. Also, let's not forget the now famous backstage incident where Curt Hennig ribbed Dynamite Kid and blamed it on Jacques Rougeau. Dynamite went after Jacques about it and a fight broke out over it. The story goes that the Rougeau's were eliminated early from the match to give them time to get out of the arena while the Bulldogs were kept in for a good long stretch. Dynamite was subsequently fired over this and possibly another issue involving an argument over management not comping him plane tickets. Davey Boy left the company with him .

I had this magazine as a kid, it's crazy for how much they go for now on eBay. Also, that Orange Crush add is amazing!!! I forgot that they had the Crush pop cans black with the orange, purple, or pink around it, depending what flavour you were drinking. That takes me back nicely there!
