500 x 10^2 is not 5,000. 500 x 10^2 = 50,000. Somehow you got the force right (2000N). Still, you should probably correct the picture!

Suppose mankind hasn't discovered the net force, the centripetal force yet. How'd you know that the normal force is less than the weight? It's still the same as the weight at the peak and when it moves a bit from the peak it's mgcostheta and the pull downwards is mgsintheta. Hence, mgcostheta=centripetal force=mv²/r. Therefore, costheta=v²/(rg)! This is my thinking and I'm hell confused. Plz somebody correct me if I'm wrong, it's killing me.

LAST QUESTION IS SLIGHTLY INCORRECT PLEASE READ IMPORTANT the last question is wrong. since inside the sine is 2x u have to substitute the domain points [-pi, pi] into 2x, so ur new domain is [-2pi, 2pi]. note that the domain hasnt actually changed, its because since it is 2x, the period has been changed to 2pi/2 = pi, so the one whole cycle can fit into the domain pi, so the domain has obviously remained the same as we cannot change it, but we are just solving for the domain [-2pi, 2pi]. This is why we can now solve for the sine function up to the third and fourth quadrant as a whole cycle can fit into the domain. It's just easier to imaginarily change the domain to [-2pi, 2pi] Then you solve for x up to 2pi which obviously includes third and fourth quadrant which is pi + pi/3 and 2pi - pi/3 which is 4pi/3 and 5pi/3 Then since it is 2x, bascially 2x = 4pi/3 and 5pi/3 and then u solve for x, therefore x= 2pi/3 and 5pi/6 and for the negative side ur lucky that sine is only negative in 3rd and 4th quadrant as if it was for example a cos function you wouldnt have even included the second quadrant in ur answer as u would have solved for the domain of -pi, not -2pi, as the true domain is actually [-2pi,2pi] and yh when u did 2x= -pi/3, -2pi/3, you solved for x by doing -pi/6, -4pi/6, which is wrong as ur supposed to multiply both sides of the equation by 1/2 to cancel out the 2 next to the x, therefore x = -pi/6, -2pi/6 (simplified to -pi/3) bringing all 4 solutions together, you would finally get x = -pi/6, -pi/3, 2pi/3, and 5pi/6 i skipped a couple easy steps such as solving for the reference angle but he does go through it earlier on the video so yh

In physics 1 courses this problem comes set up without velocity, e.g. a snowboarder of mass M drops from rest into a halfpipe of radius R. Your only two knowns are the radius and the mass; you need to find the snowboarder's velocity at the bottom of the pipe. You handwaved that part.

Can someone please explain this to me without using any numbers or fancy physics terms and shit. I dont want to know “because the normal force has to decrease.” Why the hell does it decrease? It doesnt have free will to decrease. Can someone explain this in VERY simplistic terms so I can actually understand exactly why this happens.

What he’s trying to explain is he first measures the volume of a standard strong base (e.g. NaOH), and then dump a weighed unknown sample containing some amounts of a weak acid (e.g. citric acid) all into the NaOH. Since the amount is not high and it’s a weak acid, there will be only a little change in pH of the original NaOH. Therefore, the remaining part of NaOH requires another strong acid to reach neutralization. Hence, he titrate the remaining NaOH with a strong acid (e.g. HCl). Once the solution reaches the neutralization point, he can calculate how much HCl was used to neutralize the remaining NaOH. In other word, he can know the no. of mole of HCl used. As the ratio of NaOH to HCl in the reaction is 1 to 1, the no. of mole of NaOH is known as well. Do you remember that he has already measure the volume of the original NaOH before everything starts ? As the molarity of the NaOH is known, the no. of mole of the original NaOH can be calculated simply by multiplying volume with molarity. There is a difference between the no. of mole of the original NaOH and the one of the “remaining” NaOH . Why? Because the difference is the one which has been neutralized by the unknown sample ( which contains a weak acid). Therefore, you can use the difference in no. of mole to find out the no. of mole of the weak acid in the unknown sample. E.g. NaOH to citric acid in the reaction is 1 : 1 . Once you know that, you can calculate the weight of the weak acid. Eventually, you can compare this weight with the one of the whole unknown sample you measured to figure out the weight % of citric acid in the unknown sample. Hopefully it helps.

I appreciate your intelligent and courteous explanation. That said, one of my main concerns is that the common people and the middle class should be able to afford a higher American quality of life in the form of valuable goods and services we produce and import. Were we to just briefly wind back the clock before President Biden's brief Presidential tenure, it would be accurate to say the common working American had greatly increased productivity and profits for the corporations but had not received a wage increase after inflation since the 70s. This is partly because the Federal Reserve intervenes much as the state might bust a union so that already advantaged employers don't have to financially compete for available workers. We want America's common and middle class workers to receive wage and benefit increases; They will then in turn be able to buy more goods and services, thus expanding the economic pie for everyone. That's my plan and that's what's going to happen; That means a lot of economic growth; and a fair amount of inflation. 3 percent is a conservative figure; better to plan for 4 percent; But if we maintain, indeed advance our fusion of a free market and welfare state(i.e. share some prosperity with all) no one will be on the whole adversely economically effected by the inflation; definitely not the employed nor even the employers, as we are setting a virtuous and expansive economic cycle that will reestablish itself rather quickly with greater entrenchment, lasting power, and harmonious refinement.

Is the normal force acting on the car and the person the fictitious centrifugal force?
@gooddeedsleadto7499

Feel light or weightless for a second top of the hill Normal force acting upward on u by your car seat decreasing but g force or your full weight is still acting on u? U feel lifted as a result? Could u please clarify? Is it the fictitious centrifugal force the reason? Centripetal force mv squared / R is the net force being provided by the gravitational pull on the moving in circular motion from the center of the earth? The centripetal force or the net force provided by the center of the earth ought to be equal to the difference between the weight of the object and the normal force? The weight ought to be > than the normal force exerting on object moving in circular motion. Feel light or weightlessness because the normal force > the centripetal force? Centripetal force, mv square / R acting radially downward is 2000 N and the normal force is 3000 N. N exceeds the net force by 1000 in this example. N = centripetal force - Normal force. Is the normal force acting on the car and the person the fictitious centrifugal force? The net downward force is the centripetal force = 320 N = The net upward force The net upward force = 480 N This is the reason person feels lifted upward for a moment on top of the hill. The net upward force or the normal force = the difference between the weight of the person and the centripetal force? If your weight is greater than the centripetal force acting on you the normal force exerted on you by the surface would also be greater than the centripetal force. Does it mean the larger the weight of the person the lighter u feel?
