The accompanying instrumental music just wears on you after awhile. What is this? Pseudo prog rock? Nothing is said about lead dress, it all blasts by in fast forward. You mention twisting the leads for the transformer to the rectifier, but that's only a part of the whole picture. At least you provide this, some companies (Weber) do not provide *anything* for assembling their amps.

I just had a set of these installed in a new Gibson Les Paul Deluxe Gold Top since they're the same size as mini humbuckers. I had wanted a '50's Les Paul Standard Gold Top with P90's, but the one I was sent had several issues and I returned it. Got an absolutely perfect Deluxe (thanks to Sweetwater) and was thrilled to learn I could swap the pickups (I purchased a 2nd Deluxe in Wine Red because the mini humbuckers are amazing as well and I NEED one with them, too). They look great and sound fantastic! I wish the covers were a little lighter in color to more closely match the OEM covers that Gibson uses on their 50's Standard with P90's, but these look pretty good. I ordered a couple of pickguards off of eBay and I'm hoping one of them will match the pickup covers a little better, as it seems easier to change the pickguard than the pickup covers. I also recently had a set of Mojotone '59 Clones installed in a Gibson Les Paul Tribute and swapped out the PCB for '50's wiring and it sounds incredible as well. I'm very impressed with Mojotone products and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Nice video folks, thank you! An alternative method to the hook on the jack is to prepare a closed loop through the jack and the f-hole, consisting of a 6mm nut knotted/fixed on the loop below the jack, and the washer plus nut above it (outside). Then close the loop below the 6mm nut. Now, after pulling the jack through, secure it by pulling the loop up, next fasten the washer and nut. Once fixed, cut the loop and remove it and save the 6mm nut. Voilà, done! Perhaps someone will find this useful 😁

For the ground buss between those three caps, could you just run the leads from the two outer caps to the center eyelet, on the back of the board? Edit: I figured it out, connecting the leads from the main power section capacitors on the back of the board would make it very difficult to service later.

These awesome boys are going to be my next strat pickup set for my Vintera I 70s. How did you manage to let these pickups sound so vintage and "old" like a good old set of a 59 Stratocaster in a vintage store? Warm, creamy but still shiny without harsh treble.

Thanks! We put a lot of research and history into these pickups. Hope you enjoy!!

@@mojotoneofficial But to be honest, this demo video does not match the pickup story and idea in any kind, you won the 5 way fenzy for an unbelievable "vintage old" 59 clone pickup, pure old rock vibe, and now you use this neo-modern looking demo video with this full black guitar, everything in black and grey in this video.

I've been playing 62+ years, Rene, and I use that same guitar-on-foot technique! You got that one right, for sure! And I think I prefer your nut lubrication to just about everything out there! I load all my strings first, as well. You set up for one of the best guitarists who ever played; but I have been setting up my Stratocasters by only feel, for over 60 years. You certainly need those measuring tools, though, to set up someone else's guitar! And i readlly like your technique of "thumbing-down" the strings at both ends of the neck to get that hump out of them where they cross the bridge and the nut. I use Raw Vintage springs which are quite unique, and I leave my bridge floating just a little, as I like the action of the tremolo with wiggle in both directions. Just as an aside ... my very first guitar was a 1954 Stratocaster my dad gave me in 1963, serial number 0517.
