Hey, what do u do if the gloves start to smell like when even leave your hands smelly. Do u have any tips for that? P:S I have tried washing them but for some reason the smell on the inside is not going away.
@thebloobiker23 сағат бұрын
Hi bro, I am sorry man, but I've never faced this problem, so don't really know. But you can try keeping them out in the sun -- that's what I do with my jacket sometimes when it smells funny lol Some people recommend using baking soda, soap, or hydrogen peroxide. But I am not sure if such methods work for all riding gloves. Which gloves are you using? I think the best solution is to contact the manufacturer and ask them which products are safe for the gloves.
@harshsdedhia5 сағат бұрын
@@thebloobiker Hey man thanks for the reply. I am using the Rynox air gt sp gloves. I have looked at the website to learn how to maintain the gloves. Will give it a try and see if it works. Or else all the more reason to upgrade to a new one.

I upgraded 2017 Duke390 master cylinder to Magura HC-1 radial master cylinder, brake pads to EBC EPFA- these are a step above normal sintered pads from EBC or Stock Brembo. These pads are the biggest upgrade I felt in whole system. I also have Galfer wave rotor installed, if you ask is there noticeable difference compared to stock rotors, Yes it is, the braking effort has significantly reduced with an improved feedback. And one more thing, one of the least expensive 5.1 fluid is from BOSCH.
@thebloobikerКүн бұрын
Ooohh thanks for your input bro, but that must've been an expensive setup. I'd love to try it out. Have you bypassed the ABS unit?
@omthebomb24737 күн бұрын
Progressive braking is a technique far better suited for your dual disc bikes rather than single disc bikes right?

Nope, it works on both single disc and dual disc setups.

Whats the difference between 14mm and 17mm…for r15v4 which suits better
@thebloobiker7 күн бұрын
The 14 mm and 17 mm are bore sizes within the master cylinder. Bigger and dual disc brakes need a bigger piston, but for R15 V4, 14mm will suffice.

Can it be installed on R15, cause the brake bite is fine but i have pull the lever way too much for that will it suit that ?
@thebloobiker8 күн бұрын
Yep it will If the lever i too spongy, bleed the brakes PROPERLY -- local mechanics don't do that properly. Then you can look at better brake pads, and then this mod. It's expensive, so it shouldn't be the first upgrade
@weeabooartzz16957 күн бұрын
@@thebloobiker umm the braking setup has never been touched since the delivery date. And especially that spongyness feels whenever the bike is in the sun for some time and then I start to ride. Should I go for dot5.1 brake fluid and bleed it properly. As the pads seem fine TBH and just feels a delay of some sort. BTW thanks for replying back

Sure man, You can look at pure touring boots or sport touring boots (a bit more safer). If you don't mind a bit of stiffness, proper race boots are the best. Check out: 1. Raida Explorer 2. Falco Atlas 2 3. RYO T-Rex 4. Gaerne sport touring ones (I had the G Evolution Five -- brilliant boots but broke after 3 years) 5. Tarmac Speed BBG, Solace, and Axor also have some options

Thanks for your insights. I think i totally agree when it comes to buying a regular raincoat for Mumbai/Maharashtra Monsoons. I was skeptical about the rynox jacket. Glad you were honest about it. The sugical gloves sounds reasonable , have you tried it though? Lastly, I dispute the wet legs part :D my feet are the first thing that get cold. Once my feet are cold, it doesn't matter how many layers I have on the upper body. The cold will reach my soul. My current go to are a solid pair of waterproof hiking shoes. Better than sneakers for rides. They are still to be tested in heavy rain though! plan to have my first monsoon long ride end of this month, that's kind of how I stumbled upon this video Lets see how it goes ! cheers and great video. Dropped in a sub.
@thebloobiker8 күн бұрын
Thank you! Yes, surgical gloves work well as long as the water does not seep in lol The wet legs part -- it's subjective man. I've made my peace with wet feet haha Decathlon waterproof hiking boots work well in the rains if you're looking for something to commute in. They're not at all safe as proper riding boots, though.

What’s the difference between these and tornado from the same brand…they are priced at ₹3600. am looking for mostly Sunday/city/short rides..which would you recommend among them.
@thebloobiker20 күн бұрын
Hi, Not much of a difference, bro. Tornado has more mesh panels, so they may be more ventilated. What I like about those is the leather panel on the side of the pinkie fingers. And they are a bit shorter, so no protection for the knobby wrist bone (not like Urban X offers much, but still - something is better than nothing). Other than that, both gloves are pretty similar. I'd pick the Urban X because they look better lol (in my opinion) but I'd say, wear both and see which ones feel better to you. Can't go wrong with either.

How does it feel using an intercom with the loop earplugs?
@thebloobiker28 күн бұрын
Hi bro, so any earplugs will cut down the volume, but you'll still hear your music at legal speeds. Also depends on your intercom's volume levels, though. I use a Parani M10, which doesn't have the best audio quality and levels. So far, I can hear the music and calls properly under 100 KMPH, but beyond 120, the music kind of drowns out. Ps. My hearing is already a bit damaged lmao so take it with a grain of salt

For 70km/h speed do we need them ?
@thebloobikerАй бұрын
Hi, not really, but depends on your helmet and riding conditions. Generally, damage starts around 85 dB (2 hours of exposure), which comes around at 80-90 kmph. But if your helmet, bike, or environment (traffic) are noisy, the noise levels can exceed this. I'd suggest wear it whenever you get on the highway.

I do a lot of monsoon rides here in Pune. And the season is upon us. I don’t know about you but wet feet feels extremely uncomfortable, I can live with a wet torso or legs but wet feet just drains the excitement out of the ride. So I use a combination of rainproof gaiter over my waterproof boots to prevent water seeping in from the top and waterproof socks inside, has worked well for me so far. One thing to keep in mind is to stay away from gaiters or shoe covers with a buckle/strap that goes under the boots, it can get snagged on the footpegs. Also I use the large silicone/latex reusable cleaning gloves over the riding gloves instead of surgical gloves inside the riding gloves.😂

@thebloobikerАй бұрын
I currently have an MT helmet, but my next one will be LS2. According to my friend, who owns a riding gear store, LS2 has really upped the game in recent years and the helmets are high-quality and premium. I've never used a KYT but the helmets look and feel good. I checked them out at IBW '23 So, my suggestion would be LS2 > MT > KYT In any case, avoid Axor/SMK carbon fiber ones - they are not really carbon fiber lol. And avoid Tivra as they don't have ECE certification YET.

Brother, it's a hit or miss. My Scorpion helmet had a feature for specs but it never worked for my head shape. Vice versa, some helmets work brilliantly even if they don't have that feature. In my experience, it all depends on the shape of your head and the helmet. Some helmets work for some people and not so much for others. My suggestion: Test it out. When buying the helmet, carry your specs and sunglasses with you and see.

I am confused between mt revange 2 and mt thunder 3 which one would you recommend
@thebloobikerАй бұрын
Minor differences between the two. I've never used the Thunder 3, but from what I see online, it's got a micrometric retention step as opposed to Revenge's Double-D rings, and it's got a sun visor. Safety wise, both are ECE 22.05. So, if you want something that's easy to strap and with a sun visor, go for Thunder 3. Otherwise, Revenge 2 is great (although it lacks a sun visor lol). Easy: get the Thunder 3 if you plan on touring. Also, wear both and see which one you find more comfortable. The liner and shell is different, so you may find one more comfortable than the other.
