If you're shooting with DLog M, so you know you want / need post processing anyway, I'd always film in 4:3, as it gives you the possibility to adjust your 16:9 result. Filming outdoor on the go it's very hard to hit the perfect frame, especially vertically.

I have been testen this out a lot, and i noticed that when your color profile is on Natural it has quite some grain/noise but on Flat it looks way better.

I tried uwing ND filters on my Hero 10 and the slower shutter speed messed with the vibration reduction of fhe camera. Does this not happen with the Acrion 4?

I placed an order today after getting Quest 3 and viewing several Qoocam footages! This is despite Qoocam only records in 1080p (yes, they claim it is 4K, bla bla bla). The effect is "deeper" than iPhone 15 spatial videos. I preferred VR180 but it seems a bit more expensive. So, I am settling for this.

Dji mic 2 does not record internally when it's connected to a device via bluetooth....nor does the noise reduction work. I find that to be a but odd since, in my opinion, the Mic 2 transmitter is connected to the Pocket 3 via bluetooth and yet the internal record and noise reduction both work.

I really want to put GoPro labs into my GoPro 12, but I use my GoPro 12 every day for family videos and I’m really concerned that I’m gonna damage the GoPro somehow or void the warranty. A note to the DJI Mic2: The moment the Mic2 detects an active recording session via BT it disables a) internal recording and with it 32bit recording b) internal noise reduction. DJI notes that in the manual on page 22 "[...] When connected to a smartphone via Bluetooth, the standalone recording and noise reduction functions of the transmitter are unavailable [...]" DJI Mic2 handles 3rd party cameras connected via BT as "smartphones". This is with DJI Mic2 firmware v04.04.05.13. The only way to have a secure channel 32bit recording is to use the second Mic2, not connect it to the receiver or X4, have that record to internal memory and use some indicator sounds for later audio sync or sync by wave-line. But besides that, it's still a very useful accessory which I use too.

I tried this on GoPro 10 but I noticed that in dark indoor setting the camera bumps the ISO all the way up to the limit and there also seems to be some kind of pulsing, flickiering noise in addition to the standard grain. What could be the reason? I had to set the ISO much lower (400 max), otherwise the footage turns into a crushed, smeary, pulsing mess.

Why buy 5? Surely three is enough if they charge that fast in the dual charger. Charge all three before you go out, use one, put that one on charge and use one of the two charged ones and keep going. I’m sure you have a Power Bank. And if not, one would be cheaper that the cost of two batteries.

Another great content! I’ve been using a gimbal on my Ace Pro and it sucks lugging it around. Now I don’t have to deal with that. I did notice though that the clarity zoom feature of the Ace Pro was disabled with these settings.

tried to record an event in a church a couple of weeks ago, room temp was around 20°c in early mai and the gopro 11 and 12 were overheating after around 25minutes, so basically i couldn't even record the beginning because i started recording a couple minutes after setting up the cameras(30minutes before the begining) also used the media mod on both. Thanks to my dji pocket 2 and 3 i also setup in the back, at least i had some footage(which were able to record the full 120minutes without issues).
