If I get a cheater in my game I just let them win, whether they are on my team or enemies. Cause eventually they will get so high rated they can't find a game anymore. So technically it works better for everyone if you let them do that.

I see why so many people are getting annoyed at the game. I'm not playing comp because of how many smurfs there are. QP is just becoming sweaty as, to the point I can't even be asked trying out new characters. Plus CP has gone to far. My last game yesterday I just wanted to do the ornament strat as ball because i needed something fun to do. Killed a solider once and they instantly switched to Sombra and decided to just hack me constantly (even camping out of spawn) just to ruin my game. See what I find funny is what Blizzard said at the launch of OW2, "As we build new heroes and balance the existing cast for our new 5v5 PvP experience, we have shifted our hero design approach to allow you to have an impact on your matches with a range of different heroes and strategies. This means reducing the presence of specific hard counters to heroes." They went the complete wrong way and gave an empty promise (no surprise). Plus the amount of cheaters have gotten stupid. I enjoy the lore of the game and what it can be but until Blizzard does something that is not a band-aid fix, I'm not playing this crap fest of a game. Thanks for reading this rant. <3

@Flats - not sure if you ever gonna read this but APEX, is currently having the exact same massive issue right now its out of control on Ranked Apex - its so bad that the "anti cheat devs - hideouts" is sitting watching the streamers and monitoring the games live to ban/remove the current cheaters in the match its so bad that EA "obviously" hasnt mentioned anything at all. and even pro players from ALGS are starting to say this is the lowest APEX has ever been Hopefully you make a video for both games. would be kwl yeah you also get banned if you say a slur or just type some frustration in your game - but the cheaters are rampant (in apex with regards to it)

I feel like these hacks would be so easy to spot for a program. Like all its gotta look for it where your mouse keeps flicking to. If runescape can notice that a bot keeps clicking on the same pixel or moves in a very inhuman way blizzard sure as shit could catch them.

crazy how we dropped from a abondend kinda good game, to a cheater infested boring gameplay loop, where every patch, at least 2 out of 3 roles arent having fun and even our biggest streamer, who life from this game, refuse to play the role or hero they known for or refuse to play the game in general. with every good patch come two bad ones. i also got my like 4k hours on overwatch, starting in s4 ow1, but currently, my mentality is way better, when not entering the game at all and that is fuckin sad, because i once loved it.....

No flats the ow community tells me that ban waves is the only possible way to deal with cheaters and that the devs are doing a great job.

Honestly the cheating probably really is just awful I can’t even play quick play for a few games without a cheater . I played 5 games and there was a cheater in 3 of em we still won had a laugh but still it’s an issue that needs fixing

Smurf or cheater i dont care je was like 30 in 2 when the rest of us even HIS team didnt break over like 3-5 kills

People are paranoid due to the influx of cheaters and my main account got auto banned because of spam reports, do you guys know who should I contact? (Blizzard CS is a pain)

Tank is the strongest role atm, but has the least impact because the tanks 1v1 95% of the game and can't get past each other, leaving a bad taste in the player's mouth. Tanks are also prone to counter swapping feels bad. Dps is the weakest role but feels ok to play because the dps passive makes things killable, dps have the most impact. Not by much, it's something at least. Dps are also the easiest to kill, run from tanks. You can't win a 1v1. Support feels like dogshit even with the strongest ability's in the game and some of the strongest ults, the options you have in a fight are limited by how well your tank can keep the dps passive off themselves, and your tank is limited by what support line up you run. All in all, the worst OW has ever felt for me in 8 years of playing, plus getting cheaters in top500 lobbies, fuck this shit I'm out, see yall in season 20. P.s. I suck at explaining shit, good at math, dogwater at ELA.

Everyone is a cheater. You could call smurfing cheating yet no one is banned for deliberately playing against players of a lower skill/rank to make themselves look better. I say fair is fair. streamers cheat all the time, who cares if some guy wants to spend money to ruin streamers games.

It is interesting. Cause the first battle between them. From the first guy's perspective, they are screen to screen, but from the other guys. He's ducked back out of sight of the widow. Little weird positioning, probably networking error. The second one was great because he didn't target the first guy in front of him. He targets the final person behind everyone he holds back, which for hackers I've never seen them hold back.
