Here in South africa, they actually have taken Turkish soapies and dubbed them into afrikaans language (like Dutch for those that don't know) it sounds terrible. Like those Chinese karate movies that have been dubbed into English. Back then, t.v shows were worth it and had excitement suspense, but now it's nothing but shit programs. Local t.v shows suck. 80s and 90s were the best. L.A LAW,HUNTER,RESCUE 911, A TEAM, AIRWOLF, MACGYVER,MAGNUM, KIGHT RIDER, HARDCASTLE MCCORMICK ,HIGHWAYMAN JUST TO NAME A FEW.

Ahhh the 80s....when they loved to just blow $h!t up!!!!!! Man I miss the 80s!!!!! Probably shouldn't have been watching this show as a kid, but I'm pretty sure I saw every episode. It was one of the best cop shows of the 80s other than Hillstreet Blues.... which I watched as a kid as well. 80s tv was everything!

This show is not codeless friendly. Hunter and his girl would have fucked up "The Fourth Man" in 1984, just a year after that codeless shitty movie came out in Flanders, in the Old World. Renee Soutendjik would have a mudhole stomped in her ass. And so would gay feminist-produced codeless-enabler Gerard Reve along with Jeroen Krabbe, and his codeless-loving ass. Fuck that bullshit and "Basic Instinct" and "Xena" and "Hercules" (and I mean that bullshit show that spanwed "Xena," though Kevin Sorbo hates codeless Lucy Lawless). And Alexa Vega, btw, was more dangerous in "Odd Girl Out" than in shitty "Spy Kids," which was The WB-loving. She's just mysterious in that movie, though it's a chick flick, but I watch movies for ideas, and she just came off threatening far more in that movie. Vanessa Snyder is far more dangerous and threatening than Carmen Cortez.

Assuming this is taken, straight VHS-recorded, from the original broadcast when it aired (not the remastered DVDs), that means this show still did the fade outs on film, not fading out like video. Yup "TNG" was not the only show stuck in the late 1970s. This show reached its 4th season still doing that.

Chicago "If it were you" (the Nevison mix version) is essentially this show's 6th season in song form, son. It's that beastin.

Yo this show was globetrottin hard in 1990 son. They brought in the sub-Saharan Episcopal choir brass and that major police roll trumpet son. Real shit beastin! They were trying to be black and it worked well. UPN/Warner Bros./WB flagship FTW!

I felt the same way & still do to this day that after STEFANIE KRAMER AKA "ST.DEE DEE MCCALL" left the show--it just wasn,t the same!! The show ended in 1991 but thank God Hunter & McCall were reunited in a 2003 Hunter tv movie!! I think Hunter was either a lieutenant or Captain of the Police 🚓 department in L.A.whereelse!! RIP!! They made a mistake by making changes to the series, it was better when they where on the run & had cars flying through the air before crashing, when season 5 came out it was like mission impossible going around doing spying for hunt Stockwell.

I like all the HUNTER theme songs for each season of the show. The Season 6 theme as played here is by far the best! With the Dodge Monaco and opening music setting the tone for a jam packed exciting show opening!

This is definitely the best version of the theme. Fast paced, then slows down for the bridge portion while it shows some soft scenes. Then back to business. The car doing a mid-air somersault was the topper before it ended.

I remember this show fondly when I was 11 and 12, but I had forgotten the theme song, how epic! 😊 I miss the 80s
