These videos are basically the same theme, building a shelter from scraps of wood .A lot of wood chopping . LOL

I really enjoy these videos and I have a couple of comments/questions. You must have shelters all over the country side by now. Are they still standing or do you pull them down? Also, being constantly out in the wild are there any animals that investigate your constructions whilst you sleep or rest? I've seen the woodpecker, the swans and other birdlife plus a squirrel or two but there must be other creatures?

I am a high altitude mountaineer. There is no way to be in -60 with the boots you have. Once you get to higher camps with -30-40 temps, you have to wear multiple layers of everything while sleeping in arctic sleeping back that you don’t have. You also don’t take your gloves off or at least keep the first glove on for short amount of time. Thanks for the video but please don’t mislead people.

Why didn't you build a heat reflector for your fire. That would of given you a wind break coming off the lake. Also check for gaps in your shelter this would of kept you warmer. Still great seeing the young one out and trying thing like this

As a former Montana wilderness/ hunting guide I loved this. But, rarely did I do this alone. Having a friend with you keeps your mind off of the grizzly bears.

This is why I call this particular style. Sasquatch home and garden version of shelter.. Apparently I'm just at a loss for understanding. Why so much of the branches and well green reward? Just the branches and ruff stuff is piled or is stacked on top of the peak. The roof of the shelter just are you attempting to. Build up an insulating factor to catch the snow. And I just don't follow it.I really don't follow it.I'm sorry. It looks interesting but I just can't understand what's happening there. Thanks bye
