I’m 11 and my violin teacher just gave me this music and said “I want you play just like this over summer break” I told her it would be impossible but turns out I was wrong!

Really incredible sound/tone quality. Very rare to hear this quality of sound amongst any of today’s top violinists. Bravo. My favorite recording of this was Oistrakh and your tone is right there…Plus great recording/mic set up plus very nice fiddle…

Kirill Troussov plays the Antonio Stradivari violin "Brodsky" of 1702, on which violinist Adolph Brodsky performed the world premiere of Tchaikovsky's violin concerto, on December 4, 1881. His Stradivari “Brodsky” is on private loan.

I loved this performance. All three musicians are fantastic, but I especially liked the pianist. As a pianist myself, I know how difficult the score is, and she played through the difficult parts with flawless virtuosity. Congratulations!

Extraordinary! Bravo! I came looking for Beethoven, but clearly Mr Troussov, you played him for breakfast! Perhaps, sometime, Harold in Italy? My favorite performance was at a Julliard, a graduate competition, but the clear winner was voted down by 2 of 3 judge, for lacking personal embellishment. No recording makes for such a bitter sweet reminiscence.
