Thank you for posting this! I found an old prop I purchased 30 years ago and this reminded me exactly what I have to do to use it again. I would like to give any younger or new magicians one piece of advice. As a kid, I wanted to do this magic trick immediately to amaze people. This goes for any new magic trick. Practice this in the mirror or any trick you learn many times before you do it with a person or group of people you are looking to amaze. If you don’t, odds are you will mess something up. Practice your hand movements, get your vocal routine down pat so you are not stuttering or sounding like you are reading it. If you can record yourself, even better, because you will see that you will be able to improve whatever you are doing by hand movements or instructions for the participant, anything to keep them looking away from the most risky part of the trick. Opening and closing your hands, moving your hands, handing things to the spectator or participant. The more you do it, the better you will get. Even someone like me who has very little dexterity can do many of these tricks so long as it is Practiced

I understand how this works, so I know it's not faked , but those awkward jump-cut edits you did in the video just make it look like you turned the camera off , then refilled the jar with water off camera, then resumed filming .

This trick doesn't even look good when the restraint is so loose. The handcuffs should have at least looked like a police handcuffs for it to have some credibility.

Haha, brilliant. A great mixture of three card monty and the die box. Cool. You could also mix in the disappearing glass from silk trick style routine with the handkerchief to make it look like there's still a card in there, then scrunch it up, throw the hanky on the floor and then do the final reveal
@penfold78003 жыл бұрын
Nice to see the actual full routine where you can actually show the 'die' in the box just before you make it disappear.
