I DM’d the same salon and asked for the same hairstyle and was told 850 to 900 cedis! I also had to pay 50 cedis deposit (that’s not a problem). Now watching your video, I’m not sure if the person who answered the phone wanted to rip me off. That’s bad for the owner of the business if one of her workers is doubling prices and making money on the side. I’m glad you loved your hair and nails! Have fun in Ghana.

Please Ghana is Safe every where and don't be scared going out. You could see even 5 years children walking on the streets of Ghana after 10:00 pm and they are not scared. Please feed free and go out any day in Ghana

Hey to everyone who takes the time for my comment🌺. I urgently need advice and answers. I am 16, almost 17 years old and come from Germany. Here, I am in the 11th grade (Of a total od 13). I transferred to a new school a week ago because I had a burnout for over three years and a lot of bad things happened in my life, which is why I slipped into depression and other mental illnesses. But now I'm trying to organise my life again and after so many years of darkness, I want to make it better in my future and use my full potential and finally savour this one life I have and step out of my comfort zone. I have been dreaming of studying at an Ivy League university for a long time and I also have the potential to do so. It is also no longer necessarily a dream, but should become reality and I take it seriously (because it is Main Stream or such nonsense). Finally there is motivation and hope for me again. However, I have not been able to afford my potential, grades, extracurricular activities and important tests in recent years and now I have to watch to bring my life and school back to normal. I managed to go back to school and fight my way through every day until I am completely healthy again. I will graduate in about 2 1/2 years. The best thing I can do now is to get healthy and start over, complete my graduation with the best grade in the system (here a GPA of 4.0 corresponds to the grade 0.7-1.0) and do the extracurricular activities that are currently possible (I want to start a new hobby and participate in the youth engineering of our city, as well as perhaps attend a few activities at my school). During the holidays, I can then slowly take care of more (e.g. essays and motivation letters and learning for SAT and the other tests and other activities), but my main focus should now be on my recovery and my performance, as well as normality. That's why my question is: Can I make up for the rest (that I have now missed) after graduating from school and apply later? I had planned to use 1-2 years after school for projects, engineering abroad, work and travel and the tests as well as applications that I have to complete (SAT, TOEFL, ACT...). Thank you very much and I wish you all the best on your journey of life🍀

Hi Kristian. I hope you're doing great 👍. I'm from Nigeria and I want to apply for harvard University this year. Unfortunately, my school doesn't use GPA grading system. Do I stand any chance even with a good SAT score? The second is regarding letter of recommendation, please how is it written and submitted? I'd really appreciate it if you answered these questions. Thanks you very much.

Heyo! I’m in middle school and I really want to do more so that I can get into the schools that I want (I’m looking at a fine arts school in Britain, I am already in a fine arts charter school) and I already have a .5 college credit and I’m in Pre-Algebra (a year ahead from my peers so at senior year I’m taking college level math) and I’m trying to volunteer more. Is there anything else you’d recommend for me to do? I really want to be prepared like you are :)

Sorry to be so candid, but no white person with those scores gets into those schools. They are "good" for many schools,. but not the competitive ones you got into. Whites/Asians need 34 on ACT and above 1550 to even have a shot at your top schools.

Its interesting that you talked about Harvard not "solving all problems" because I felt the same way when beginning high school in 2020. It was very difficult to move into a new and more mature environment during COVID because everything was so limited. But I can definitely say that high school has gotten so much better leaving the pandemic behind, and I hope that's been the case 2 years later!
