Awesome video, Aaron! PS what kind of shirt is that? It's a good look.

Interesting place. I didn't know Sacramento had Eichlers. In house tour videos, it's important to get your facts and even small details right. The countertop is called terrazzo, popular in the 1950s. The TV feature is cool, a design from the 1950s and '60s. Television did not end at 11 p.m. in the 1970s. Helps to know a little cultural history when introducing home design.

Terrazzo flooring was done with a mix of concrete and glass with other aggregate mixed in and polished. These countertops are made from a mix of quartz and plastics as well, but to mimic the look of terrazzo flooring. In regards to tv ending at 11pm, it depends on where you lived and specific channels. Being from the Midwest, we had several channels that ended at 11pm and on the weekends much later. I do applaud your efforts in correcting him, but condescending to someone isn't a good look.

“Beams” are horizontal. “Posts or columns“ are vertical. Beams sir on posts. Let’s get the basics right especially if you are talking about mid century modern houses.

The house is wonderful. The landscape, concrete and gravel, not so much.

Ah the memories lol. I jumped at this place a few yrs ago when i turned 20. Amazing experience. I felt a bit bad for my instructor though. He was maybe 5'6'', 165lbs while I was 6'1'', 275lbs. I know I hurt him when he opened the chute. I heard him groan pretty loudly lol, but he said he was fine. I kept asking but he kept saying, "nothing to it brother!" Other than that, I had the time of my life. Thanks for posting the video, hoped you loved the jump as much as i did.
