Oil wet plug. The cause of wet plug is worn out rings.

I have a 3600W diesel gen that sounds good when running via electric start, but the cord is extremely hard to pull even with 2 adults pulling. Could the plate valve be the reason?

@@jaywealthmechanics9285 Thanks - I did, inlet and outlet were both correct at 0.006"/0.15mm........there is a LOT of side play on the exhaust rocker but I could not see any plate valve, either in the rocker housing or on the parts list in the manual.

I should mention that despite the side play the decompression lever seems to operate ok when you press it down - it stays down, but is it really pushing the valve open? I just had an idea.....I could try slowly pulling the cord and THEN press the lever - if there is no difference then that would indicate an issue with the rocker?

Hello,I have been following you for sometime now and your videos has been helpful ,my gen started bringing black smoke for sometime so it started running low on oil every time ,at times in a night we top it up with over 3 litres of oil ,so we called a mechanic and he repaired it, for the first night after the repair it was ok ,then after that it started the same problem again I don't know what's wrong

I am currently repairing generator that almost got knocked. It started being very loud, knoc-knoc-knoc sound when running, so I immediately stopped using it. I have taken engine apart and the connecting rod is loose, so I bought new one on ebay, it arrives today! so I will start the repairing process tonight. Thank you for great informative videos <3

The starting coil wire. It is located at the flywheel side.

I bought used Firman eco8990esr but later realized the oil switch is missing while the oil sensor is still intact on the engine. I got a new oil sensor and I have plugged the oil sensor to the oil switch but how do I know the on/off switch wire to pug the oil sensor output wire to?

Trace it from the starting coil. The wire is black pass through on one side of the governor race regulator.

Where do I plugged it too..I GUESS it's battery charging wire. If U can tell me where the battery charging wire is connected too, I'll really appreciate. Bravo!

Great job...I bought firman eco8990esr generator as fairly used and i realised the low oil pressure sensor wire is cut off from the sensor which probed into the engine block. Is it possible to loose this sensor from the engine block without tearing the engine apart n put a new one. I dont want ro run the risk of knocking my generator engine

I bought as fairly used this particular generator but it doesn't come with battery and remote control. I could see some disconnected wire outside the key starter area. I want to get new battery for it. What kind of battery do u recommend and it would be nice if u can do a video on wiring connections for key starter on this gen cos most generator mechanics don't know much about electrical wiring in generator
