Well first of all thanks for asking , I just went to look for the video and found a different one that was never published 😬 . I've had the stinger box for over a year now, pretty sure I recorded a video but not sure what happened with it, I have a memory card somewhere with 2-3 videos I know I recorded but can not find any where , that or I accidentally deleted them without saving first. But looks like this may be one of those because I do not see the footage for it anywhere.

Agreed, Was first thing I thought when I first saw it, that its cool too bad it wont work for me since I put in larger pods.. and they said , oh we already have a different version for that.

Hey Bill. Great content. Have you noticed an oil temp increase with any of the bumper replacements you’ve done? I did a capable to modular swap and my oil/trans temps are about 5-10 degrees higher now. Any thoughts?

Thanks, I have not noticed any changes like that no, but to be honest I'm not sure I have paid super close attention to notice it, I would most likely just have noticed if it was a significant increase or started getting to scary temps.

I am really liking what I have seen of the turn offroad hardtop, Even if I didn't like the top ( which I do ) I would still be impressed with how they handled the development and roll out of it.

It's because of the 1.5 inch spacers. Take them off and it'll be good 😅

The spacers were needed to keep the tires from rubbing the frame and upper control arm, the OEM wheels do not have enough offset to run a much bigger tire without them.

It seems they have worked out most if not all the kinks now, so it should be plug and play for new customers, but yeah pretty expensive to pay for being a beta tester. Every time I get into Matts Branco I am tempted to order another for myself, but have a couple of other things to get on my list first.

I did the same in my 99 Chevy tracker but since the front suspension has 2 inch spacer , the spring ended compressed and now the suspension y very hard , and has a rough driving I feel even the litthe bumps on the road. I would like to find a lower control arm relocation kit (move the lower arm down) to release some pressure to the springs.

I don't think they even know that they are missing for the Bronco , they just see it uses same axle housing they built a cover for and say yup that will fit.

I got my box in the mail today and notice it didn't have the flat bracket pieces, that you also didn't seem to use in your install. They're listed in the install manual as parts, and you also have them. Any idea what those parts are for? Kind of hard to describe them. They're the square plate pieces. Almost square in shape with a single edge at a 90. One slightly angled more than the other. You have them in your video laying on your garage floor before the install... You didn't use them, and I don't think I see them used in my instructions for the Bronco either. Only listed. I seem to have absolutely everything else.

Many thanks for the help, Bill. Update for others... I was seeing the foam pads as brackets. They look similar from the pictures and they lay them out with the metal parts in the parts list. Slight fitment issue with the hard top latches at the front, but otherwise a very simple install. Really, I could have lived with that clipping the panel either way, but decided to trim and paint it so they cleared. They fit with the roof on either way, just clip when rotating for removing and reinstalling. You're right. It really stiffens up the bronco. A lot of shuddering has vanished. I'm happy with it.
