LOL I can't remember much about the film but apparently this is supposed to be a sex shop. I'm looking at what's behind her and its like DIY tools like hammers, wrenches... ;) Maybe its a sex shop for the Village People.

So happy A) larry is such a sports fan B) Buckner came around "finally" (before this of course) and embraced "gets by Buckner"... he was a very good player and good that season... Of course as a Mets fan since I was 4 or 5 in 82/83, im glad for Buckner for an entirely different reason lol, but that ain't nothing new when ur a long time fan of the Metsies! Quick uh.."fun" fact (again, for Mets fans, not Bill...), actually couple facts... 86 ya had the curse of the bambino and the Cubs' futility in winning known as The Goat (b4 the "GREATEST" acronym), and Buckner went from the Cubbies to the BoSox that year in 86. He wore his Cubs batting glove under his mitt out in the field, so the "legend" is he doubly cursed himself by combining some 150+ years of 0 chips at the time... Also, years ago, I watched I think a 30 FOR 30 on Buckner and 86, and if u slooooooooow down THE play, you see plain as day what actually happened and realize he probably makes that put out 99 times out of 100. But of course it only takes 1, and here's why....already mentioned the Cubs batting glove in the field (most MLBers don't do that), however Buckner's mitt was also wayyyyyy old, leather totally broken in, just how a lot of kids like it growing up... so worn, opening and closing the mitt felt like opening and closing a cupboard door... BECAUSE of this INSANELY worn out, flimsy leather mitt, when Bill put his hands down to make the play, juuuust planting himself in time to get in front of Mookie's dribbler, as taught, the momentum of hurrying to make the play caused this door-hinge mitt action to just close. The inertia, like when u stop short and everything goes flying to the front of your car, pushed his open and waiting mitt hand to close up just enough and in the exact damn split of a split second, as if a damn supernatural presence forced his glove closed, as the ball suddenly had an open path to "behind the bag, get by Buckner...." And the rest is the epitome of one man's highest of highs is simultaneously another's lowest of lows. Had Buckner taken a new mitt even "back" when he was traded to the Red Sox (giving him plenty time for someone to work it in, but be nowhere as flimsy as his actual mitt), he makes the play and the Mets lose in Shea, 6 games, to the cursed BoSox.....smh As detailed and thorough as I tried to explain it simply still doesn't do the astronomical odds of all that happening, true justice

I'm in tears. Unbelievably kind gesture from LD to write this episode for Billy Buck, who suffered so much abuse and cruelty from fans and media ever since that fateful day at Shea. This speaks volumes of Larry's character, his empathy, and wanting to right a wrong for Bill. He understood as a sports fan how much Bill had suffered and how much he needed that standing ovation and victorious ride. You so deserved this, Bill Buckner. RIP. And may you be riding on God's shoulders in Heaven. And btw, nice catch indeed, and not surprising since Bill was an All American at wide receiver in high school.
