Hi, I don't see any information on the wiki page. How's the heli flying? Is it with or without RPM sensor? What ESC are you using for main motor? BLheli-S with bluejay? brake on stop setup so the motor can spin freely? So many questions I'm having!

Thanks, the page was moved to rotorflight-old-wiki. I've updated the link. That wiki page describes how to set it up for RF1. RF2 is slightly different. If you have any questions about RF2, please join the Rotorflight Discord.

@@elubb Thanks a lot! I'm very familiar with RF2 and K110 stock/modified. And I'm really interested in K110 running RF2. Upon reading the page, all my questions've been answered! Superb! Thanks man!
Hi video uploader, Do u join the Discord channel ??? Yr video seems to be interesting , interesting me to built a custom FC for a micro heli.

Could you make a tutorial video on how to add 3D to a stock tinyhawk 2 freestyle? How do we get from stock rtf kit to this?
@elubb6 ай бұрын
The trick is to make the motors spin bidirectional and get equal thrust in both directions. The fundamental steps are: 1. Flash Bluejay 0.21 using esc-configurator.com and set the 'Motor Direction' to 'Forward/Revers (3D mode)'. 2. Reverse the props on motor 1 and 4 OR on motor 2 and 3 (take them off, flip 180deg, then mount again). 3. Configure Betaflight for 3D mode on the 'Motors' page. I've also enabled 'Bidirectional Dshot' and 'Gyro RPM Filter'. Now you should be able to arm with the throttle stick in the middle. Throttle up works as usual, throttle down will reverse the motors.

I reversed M1 and M4, but you could also reverse M2 and M3.

what is your cpu %? On my TH2F if I flash my Esc's with Jazzmaverick 16.77 to enable RPM filtering I get 100% cpu load when bi-directional dshot is enabled.... The only way I can have bi-directional dshot enabled is by having my gyro at 8k and my pid loop at 2k. I also need to have my accerlonometer disabled to get under 30% cpu load...
@elubb3 жыл бұрын
Try BLHeli_M 16.9. With 8K/4K loop, accelerometer enabled and RPM filters I get: - around 32% when using DSHOT600 - around 26% using DSHOT300 When I use a 8K/2K loop, CPU usage is under 10%.

@@elubb I tried... Really wonder what the issue is... With 16.9 I get 100% cpu... So needed to drop to 4k 4k to get under 30%... What else could I do?

Do you change the tail boom?
@elubb3 жыл бұрын
Yes, it's now 24cm long and has a custom made mount for the brushless tail motor. 24cm is a bit long, 22cm would work as well.

Bedankt!

You made this very well, but it isnt a good idea because 1. It needs electricity from the battery and flight time decreases and 2. You may be able to see the plane in the dark, but not the trees ;)
