Sometimes an NBA prospect doesn’t make it not because they are not NBA material but because the mindset of NBA executives are bounded by trends and misconceptions and they need to be given an opportunity at the right time to the right team. Frank is an example. The NBA could have had no better guard and no better person. Too short my ass. Explain Spud Webb , Muggsy Bogues, Earl Boykins, Nate Robinson… Frank is a winner. That characteristic seems to be ignored by the NBA

There was no 3 pointer when Lynette played and I watched her. She also played with a men’s ball which is harder to shoot. I love Caitlin Clark. She is Steph Curry like and I don’t believe Steph Curry is the best point guard ever. Not in my top 5. Best shooter from distance ever though. Like Caitlin. Pete Maravich did it in three seasons with no three point line as well.
@guimbanian25Ай бұрын
She says her record stands because there was no 3 point shots during her college days and that they used mens size basketballs. Why would that matter. A 5 ft midget like me can make baskets from 3 foot away which most of her baskets came from. She shot 63% from free throw line, what will she do from 25 ft with someone guarding her. The biggest issue is her size. She is 6 ft 1. She played mostly against 5’6” ladies.

I’ll never forget Bob Davis distinctly calling two games in my childhood, one was the elite eight game in 2007 a loss to UCLA Kevin Love hit an Insane turnaround jumper over Darnell Jackson that was in the middle of the run that flipped that game. Bill called a timeout as KU’s lead was cut to two and Bob Davis goes “I guess the UCLA contingent wants to remind us we aren’t in Kansas anymore” 10 year old me started thinking that isn’t good when Bob Davis goes quiet. The other would be the final big 12 game against Mizzou in 2012

Kind of like an old song gets a new run, it's nice that Caitlin Clark's accomplishments are forcing Lynette Woodard's name to be in the mouths and minds of basketball fans again.
@VanillaGorilla25Ай бұрын
Her accomplishments didn’t go away??? Nobody cared let’s be real women’s basketball 15 years ago was a JOKE full games played without either team scoring more than 40 points stop the madness. Lynette was ahead of her time and paved the way for women OF ALL COLORS it was sad to see her speech where she undermined Caitlyn Clark instead of passing the torch. In todays game Lynette wouldn’t have started or had near the career and that’s fact

i honestly gave up after the first half when unc was whipping our butt. But that comeback was crazyyyyyy!!!! I still have to give the Chalmers 3 point shot to be the best championship though. But this is still amazing.

What a special team. Went to a couple games that year, and somehow those games in the tournament when they went down, it felt like they were just fine. What a fun group to watch.

Due to Hunter Dickinson's cockiness. Kansas will not win the national championship this year. People that confident never win. unless your Christian Lattenar.
@thund3r946 ай бұрын
His confidence has nothing to do with our chances at a national championship lmao, if that were true we wouldn’t have won in 22’ with CB since CB is like that
