I feel so bad for Dede. Bob-O's win heavily overshadowed her performance (unintentionally), and on the next show, she became the only Super Millionaire contestant to leave with NOTHING.

it was their attempt to change things up and speed up the early parts of the show. youll notice there is a rush to get to 50k then it slows

They switched to an RNG for 50 50 by the time Super Millionaire aired. But I imagine a bunch of people were screaming at him not to say what his two hunches are (even originally it was never actually rigged on set. They rigged it when they wrote the question, they just guessed the most likely second hunch right most of the time. Game show regulators attested to this)
