of you could just use the waves to make energy as they go up and down more efficient and more environmentally friendly.

Building something partly under the sea floor seems to be expensive, and not very enviro-friendly depending upon how much the area has to be disturbed. Why not have an air filled bladder anchored to the seafloor, with a tube to the surface (could even use the structure of the tower perhaps as the tube or at least the vertical stablity of the air tube. Extra power would be used to draw air into the tube down to fill the bladder anchored to the seafloor. WHen energy is needed a valve opens and the air is pushed out of the underwater bladder through a turbine, and that air can either bubble to the surface or return though the tube to the surface, and there may be a way to get even more energy from that entire path.

I think pumping water is more efficient overall, but yeah, I don't understand why they feel the need to bury most of the equipment. 🤔

Astronomically expensive for a feeble amount of power for a limited time.

Was würden 900 000 Tanks a 20 000m^3 in 120m Tiefe Kosten? 10 000km^2 dürften kein Problem sein! Ich denke es ist nicht als saisonaler Speicher geeignet!

Do you have to Anker the Plastik Tubes, so that they don't Lift Up with the Fresh water or with water flows

The deeper, the more energy can be stored in the same amount of pumped water. This sort of storage is actually competitive with hydro dams. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/d71jYMmLmZ6sZY0.html

@@haifutter4166 Warum sind die Betongbehälter unter dem Boden? Damit sie nicht wegschwimmen? Kann man Material spahren, wenn man einen Tank aus dem Gestein am Meeresgrund herrausfräst und dann abdichtet?

Sounds like a scam, their idea of digging a massive water reservoir under the ocean does not hold water.

What is the pressure in the steel tanks? Is it vacuum, or surface air pressure with a vent pipe? The tanks are under reduced pressure, so they would need about double the wall thickness to resist buckling, compared to an equivalent pressure vessel. Very expensive solution, also with the complication of underwater pumps.

Pathetic video, great idea. Why use blatters and not direct sea water? Due to particles and animals that could get sucked in?

Fresh water is way better than sea water. Equipment could get damaged if using ocean water for long periods.
