As I remember the wankers in charge of us never let us get near any dirt....anyone over WO rank was shit sc ared of getting stuck anywhere and the Tiffys were always saying hey would break if off roaded??? (I drive a unimog for kicks now).

Flying a red flag on a turret is a bit of a no no. On a range it usually means the gun is unsafe and can fire at anytime.

Excellent little armoured car, the 2 pounder even at wars end was capable of killing or disabling most German tanks up to a Panther on its notoriously weak sides.

Sorry but I couldn't tell you. A very helpful gent at Wareham station told me it was due to pass through en route from Winfrith, but I don't know where it was going.
