Nevertheless the DOW corporation used the more expensive process anyway, and as a result DOW put out only 1% of the Dioxin to the market, even though they supplied 60% of the Agent Orange. The vast majority of Dioxin came from other corporations, and most of the small-time companies that produced Agent Orange without the crystallization process to remove Dioxin from the final product went bankrupt instead of fight the legal battle over it.
