This video just came across my page🤔🤔 I've been on the fence about an LS or 383. THANKYOU!! You've helped make my decision..👍
@mainewoods18623 жыл бұрын
Does it work Yes. Does it last HECK NO. So if you want your boat to look a LOT better with very little effort this is maybe worth the cost. However you will need to re apply every second or third trip. I have a self made product I use in my cabinet shop combination of mineral oil and beeswax that I can,t tell the difference in performance. Except I could make 2 gallons for $50.

@Local_Boydidgood3 жыл бұрын
You should just compound out the oxidation and then "wax" it but keep applying wax every few (6) months to keep it looking good forever. Hiding oxidation is just that. Butter would do a similar job, olive oil, transmission fluid... Won't stop further oxidation, staining, scuffs,... You maintain the engine, the electronics, the trailer and the truck but not the boat itself? Try it or hire someone to do it for you and see the difference. Don't use caranuba-based waxes use polymer sealants and clean between compounding and "Waxing"

Can we see the impeller after few shallow passes?
@1fastgmctruck3 жыл бұрын
The impeller is SS and can take a pretty good beating before you need to take a file to them. Most nicks will come from getting stuck on gravel bar and leaving motor running. Running over shallow bar without dragging at high speed normally want pick up enough rocks to do any damage to impeller.

If it held that shine for several month totally worth it, how much if your bottle did it take to do the whole boat, less than half?
@Rico11b4 жыл бұрын
Does it TRUELY remove the oxidation, or does it just mask it under the glossy shine? I can wet my boat with water and it looks super shiny, but a few mins later when it tries I can see the oxidation again very easily.

If you do decide to cut be careful because there is a main support beam that runs long ways down center of floor.That's why I put the tray left of center to avoid cutting this beam.......I used a couple of round stock allum to help support around tray.So far no problems or sagging,very solid
