Every time you cross the center line, you risk getting killed. The more times you cross the line, the greater the risk. Eventually, everyone who crosses the line on a regular basis either gets hit or has a close call/ near miss.

Objectively speaking what they're doing isn't really dangerous other than the lines being more slick which does pose a risk. If you can see into a corner and no one is coming there's no threat if you cross the line. I do it all the time in my car. Notice how on the blind corners they kept in their lane. The leg dangles are pretty corny but overall they're not being overly dangerous.

It's also embarrassingly bad how jerky they are with the throttle. It's either on or off, no finesse at all with these two. This is exactly the kind of idiot who thinks a 600cc sports bike is a good first bike.

Just plain ignorant regardless of what type of vehicle. Choosing to cross a double yellow centerline and exceed the posted speed limit is what makes them a menace and gives bikers a bad name!

Used to see this all the time when riding Mt. Palomar. A lot of folks could use with some coaching at a track day. A humbling experience for many road warriors who think they are king of the hill. With some encouragement from Dave Emde, I raced for a few seasons and won some California regional championships. After he died on Old Julian highway in what would have been a nothing burger crash on the track I dialed things back on the street quite a bit as I had young kids at home. But on two successive weekends I had guys like this blow the double yellow and come at me head on. If I didn't have the racing experience I probably wouldn't have been able to avoid them. Decided to switch to dirt bike riding - not risk free, but at least my kids grew up with a dad.

Sportbikes are NOT designed for such tight slow corners. They are designed to go FAST! A KTM 690 Duke is designed to go slow in this riding environment. My only criticism is that the sportbike riders can't afford to take it to the track because that's where ALL of them belong. Off of our public roads.
@1wesleydb

Bikes were capable, riders weren't. I think they were pushing faster than they're ability to not be slowing down the camera bike, and showing off for the camera.

Public roads are notorious for unseen hazards, animals darting in front of you, other idiots coming at you and also riding like a moron, dirt, sand, leaves, seeds, whatever else may be strewn about the pavement, your own idiocy of riding on a curve in the opposing lane of traffic potentially involving innocent motorists or other riders who don't deserve to be harmed by your stupidity. If you have to pretend you're Rossi, rent a groomed track and have at it; you might actually outlive your lack of riding skills and respect for others. Examples like this is why I ride alone.

Public roads are the playground for CARS and TRUCKS and BUSES. Motorcyclists use their own bodies as part of the actual intimate physical interaction most times resulting in serious injury or death. The road is no place for ANY motorcycle or bicycle for that manner. It is the domain of the 2 ton club with a steel cage and 4 big wide tires.

300 or 600 or 125 or 1000 makes no difference. You will always be the one scraped off the road when you strike a car or truck or the scenery or another motorcycle or a stray animal or a tree branch or a big rock in the road......... Motorcycles only safe harbour is the race track where we all go in the same direction, are run in graded and supervised classes, have paramedics, fire etc on site. The only problem with track riding is having to buy a new set of tires each time you do a track day! Cheers.
