This popped up in my feed. In West Virginia, the Ohio River and all the smaller rivers and big creeks that feed into it are full of big flatheads. The Ohio River, though, is like stair stepped to the channel from the original bank, the old dam system, and the modern one. Probably too deep to noodle. Was a few old timers that used to do it but haven't heard of anyone hand fishing since the early 90s.

@@archiehillsman5100 yes. We try to always include underwater if the water clarity allows. Unfortunately probably 90% of the noodling spots have little to no visibility underwater…😔

I completely understand the hat and glasses when you're looking for fish. But why when your diving ? And wouldn't it be better Tying back your hair River and pherce . Just asking.

@@archiehillsman5100 we lose too many hats and glasses if we take them off and leave them on the boat or bank..so just better to keep them on. And if we don’t where them we get burnt crispy. Even with sunscreen from the in and out of the water. Yes. It would be better for them to put their hair in a braid or pulled back, but they are stubborn.
