How about putting an led bulb in the classic housing instead of the halogen bulb. And how would that be vs the these options...?

One issue with these hitch mounted lights that tap into the 7 pin harness for some trucks, is that it thinks you have a trailer attached and you keep getting trailer warnings. Diode Dynamics has a fix that uses an included wire that plugs into the harness then you have to route it up to tap onto the brake light wire. They also offer a way to stop the strobe when you first hit the brakes if you don't like the strobe feature. Another thing, all these guys make it look easy to route the wire through the hitch, but if you have a hitch like mine, it is solid metal at the back, so you have to drill a 7/8" hole to get the wire in.

Its all Overpriced.

HID becoming obsolete and consumers choosing Leds. You can get decent $10-20 pair of led in the market and is quite bright

Hid was popular 10 yrs ago but led is now the new gen. Very easy to install vs hid with all the wire to install. Almost same brightness.

Don't you have problems putting an LED bulb in a halogen reflector? Does the throw pattern tend to blind oncoming drivers?

2003 GMC Sierra SLE: I recently swapped my flasher relay to a NOVITA LM487 LED compatible unit. I had previously swapped over the rear running/brake, backup, & frt side marker lights to LED units. After installing the flasher relay, I upgraded the rear turns and the front running/turns to LED switchbacks. That evening driving home, i noticed that the side mirror turn indicators, and in-dash turn indicators were faintly illuminated. As soon as I got home, I swapped the front switchbacks back to incandescent bulbs, and the side view & in-dash lights went back to normal. My question: Is the feedback from the switchback LEDs going to f-up my electrical, and is this a "normal" or common issue? How do I get LED frt turns without any problems?

Is this one of those that blind me in broad daylight? Talk about causing road rage. These bastards should be illegal if they already are not. Stop causing auto accidents due to blinding the on-coming driver. Bragging about brighter is wrong. You are the problem, not the solution. I am getting sick of having spots before my eyes like accidently seeing welding without protection. When are the class action lawsuits starting? I want in.

I am having issues with my flashers, and turn signals. I have leds in all my lighting and I hooked up resistors to both headlights and taillights. It worked just fine until two days ago!!! In the morning my flashers are dimly lit on dash but I have no flashers or turn signals. But later in the day then they work.. I’m stumped

big sigh because my headlights require significant dismantling to get access to the adjustment screw. Also I have no ideas where I can find 25' of flat ground with a wall at the end as I don't have a driveway. Surprisingly difficult scenario to find out in the world.

My dad has a 2007 dodge ram 1500 and he bought sone cheap led bulbs and when we installed them the lights only turn on for a couple seconds than shut off until you turn the key off then on. I then bought these resistors kit for the bulbs and now they work but they are stuck in high beam mode and when you hit the high beam switch the low beams come in for 1 second then go back to high beam mode. I now just bought some pwm modules to see if those will work

I’m in a 2010 Tacoma prerunner that has DRL that are also the turn signals. I’d like switchbacks that are white DRL and amber turn signals. Is there a bulb I can get that doesn’t require resistors ?
