I am in oregon and need to know where I can obtain a regular supply of the hibiscus for tea.
@gemfoxfoodandcraft13 күн бұрын
I did a quick google search and there are hearty varieties of hibiscus that will grow in your zone, so visit your local garden centers to see what they got. If you want already dried hibiscus flowers, check out any large Asian markets and Latino markets. It may be labeled as hibiscus, sorrel, or ‘Jamaica’. You can find a lot more info than what I provided by searching sources in your immediate area. Good luck, and happy cooking ^_^

Thank you so much for sharing! Is there a pattern for the bag?
@gemfoxfoodandcraft23 күн бұрын
Hi, thanks for asking. I improvise most of my designs. But if I ever recreate this bag, I’ll try to either write a pattern for it or make a video of it or both ~_^ I can guide you on how I did it real quick - I started with a semicircle base worked in SC. Then I likely turned up the wall by working the edge of the semicircle in SCBP. From there I lworked rounds of HDCBL until I reached the height I liked, then worked a crab stitch to bind the top edge. The handles were worked in slip stitch and secured to the rim with whip stitches. Hope that helps. Happy crafting ^_^

Is 'pegging' exclusive to peanuts? I don't observe this behavior in any other plant
@gemfoxfoodandcraft2 ай бұрын
Hi! I googled your question, and from what little I read, pegging does seem to be unique to peanuts. ^_^

That resulting cord looks great. And when I have priced cords for bag knitting, ones that don’t stretch like yarn, the prices are exorbitant.

It is rainy in Los Angeles, CA because of the storm. Have some light weight but outdated wind breakers, many baseball caps and clothing of that sort. Just wonder if people recycling and converting them into rain ponchos using plastic bags, hot iron, hot glue gun, hot glue sticks, and parchment papers. I believe that it can be quite easy, creative, and practical.

Hi there ! I'm a senior male who has never sewn anything before ! ha ha . I don't understand how this hem will work ? Where does the 4 inches of fabric go after stiching about 2 inches ( some kind of cuff ) ? Sorry, I'm very confused. I have lots of jeans to shorten ha ha.

Hello! This method creates a folded flap that is half the amount to be taken up. That flop gets pressed upward, in other words the fold is facing up on the inside of the leg. You won’t see it at all, but you may feel it. Hope that helps. Good luck! ^_^

All plastics can be recycled back into oils and used in various ways, like for fuel, The Swedish are recycling plastics and using them as fuel to heat homes, why doesn't the U.S.A.? Also these oils can be made into rubber for things like roads and waterproofing like in boats and floats, life jackets and innertubes. There is a lot that can be done, but it starts at home. I love this yarn idea to make bags for mushroom hunting and dog harnesses n such...so many ideas!

I'm off and running with this and plan on making a ladies' bowler "straw" hat out of the plarn pline (twine)! 😊 A friend of mine taught me how to make rope out of horse hair which is done the same way in twisting. Super easy but very time consuming yet so worth it.
