The Piggo stories were listened to for several years, at bedtime and on car journeys. I have the cassettes but nothing to play them on. Would be fab to be able to buy this as an audio book for my grandchildren 🙏

It's so wrong for someone to assign an agents for an artist, it just shows what a scummy loathsome industry it is. Pam should have been able to choose her own agent and dictate the terms, never signed anything away that is her own artistic talent to some low life. It makes me quite angry to think these bastards made so much money from innocent talented people.

Pam would certainly find an audience in the U.S., but it's a big country, and the travel can be a strain.

I was brought up in Berkshire like Pam and although a tad younger, her experiences were close to my own. I didn't pass the 11 Plus either and had to just get a normal working job. Wow, so...this brought back so many memories for me. I love this woman! :) The need to laugh since 2020 is so important!!!!!!

Pam has given so much pleasure with her poems but that is only matched by her skill as a raconteur. It is such a joy just to see her perform live just talking to the audience.

You’ve made me grin and snort and chuckle, belly laugh and both knees buckle, many times since Hughie Greene introduced you, poet queen. You describe to a tee what happened to me when I tried contact lenses, well, I thought I’d lost my senses! And your stories of romance, waiting for that special glance from a hero, tanned and mounted, well I’ve hoped to meet one too, more times than can be counted! 👍🏻 Thanks for your perfect words. 👏🏻

You are Wonderful legend Pam. Saw you on opportunity Knocks, Got your books, seen your stage show in Chester, watched you on KZfaq and countdown and, as a 79yr old amature poet and creative writer, find you a tremendous encouragement. You are an enormously talented ‘wordsmith’ with incredible perception of people, events, situations, animals etc etc. Your humour is awsome, and infectious ; when you smile and laugh, it radiates so much happiness. I just felt compelled to add my thanks to you, in making the world a better place. It’s time you were made a Dame for your contribution to poetry. Thank you for being YOU and for your successful efforts you have to making poetry it fresh, bright, humerous and delightful. It has made me laugh so much over the years… a welcome antidote to the troubles we see in the world. THANK YOU !! Jim (the Wirral) 26.2.2024

Schools should use her videos to get children interested in poetry. (Not the usual current “poems” that have no rhyme, rhythm and very little meaning - they don’t appeal to young people. In any case most people have no idea what the prose means unless it’s accompanied by an explanation.) Her talent is immense and her timing and presentation would, I’m sure, impress young people, plus they’d get to laugh.
