I forgot to mention that there is an enormous amount of Maradona graffiti plastered all over the place in Buenos Aires. It’s on fences & the walls of buildings everywhere. I have been there & seen it & I hear that Naples, Italy is also similarly covered with graffiti. No footballer before or since has ever been worshipped like that. Not Even Lionel Messi or anyone else!.

In the Argentine capital Buenos Aires they have erected an enormous mural of Maradona above one of the widest & busiest avenues in the city. When he joined Napoli they won their first ever Italian Serie A league championship. The partying & celebrations in Naples were said to have gone on for a week. On his death in November 2020 Napoli named their football stadium after him. The Diego Armando Maradona Stadium. No other footballer in the history of the game has ever had that kind of adoration?. That Maradona was the greatest footballer of all time is beyond question in my opinion.
