That was really skillfully done with projecting anthropomorphism of the robot as we followed its reactions and face. Bit of a shocker horror too.

maybe a drone of a robot. a person sitting in the chair trying to find a cure. or the nest where the creation started. as its more plausible to a waistland society. A.I as the emotional support to block out the memories of the attacks. Or maybe the next step in the humans evolution. just not the step that was thought.

I loved seeing the robot all of the sudden move with such speed. Super cool. And the way it had developed emotion from seeing the picture.

It would be cool if at the end of the film it turned out that as a result of a program failure, the robot would realize that he was finishing off the last people, because the program imposed on him the image of monsters on people. And according to one of the rules of robotics, a robot cannot harm a person. And there an interesting story could be developed further

Stunning work by the whole team. I was immersed and enthralled throughout the entire short. There are so many questions i have, but i know they don't really matter in a short. My two main questions (just thinking out loud and don't need them abswered): who made the robots and how did the humans end up that way in such a short(?) amount of time? The picture of the child and the grotesque form it grew into being makes me think that only a decade or so has passed. Maybe even less, considering the condition of the bear. If it has actually been a century or longer, how did the hunanoids survive that long? It's like they found immortality in their new forms. The hatred towards the robots makes me think they might be extraterrestrials? Almost as if they were the cause of the downfall of humanity and the humans haven't forgotten. The robots seem to have some semblance of emotions, or maybe just the one we followed. It seemed to be questioning their way of things; that perhaps they are the cruel ones. Excellent work. The visuals, while janky at times, were amazing. I especially love the attention to detail on the humanoids. They were still fleshy with only a miniscule amount of resemblance to the humans they once were.

This was not engaging or even really interesting.

When even a robot has PTSD

The voice acting was amazing in this film.

I've had a story concept in my mind for a long time now, and this animation reminded me of it. It's a story of a robot in a somewhat distant future. A home servant robot, meant to protect and help the owner in times of need. The robot wakes up every day, does regular chores, fixes the house as much as it can and always stops by his owner's room. Every time he asks if he needs something. The only answer, however, is silence. The robot did not push any further, not daring to open the door, since his owner didn't give permission to do so. As time goes on, robot rusts and his parts become more faulty with each day. Woods rots and more weeds invade the house. Resources dwindle to fight these issues dwindle as well. Robot sends out requests, to schedule his diagnostic by a human or to buy materials online. The answer, however, is silence. Robot goes out himself, checking out nearby stores to buy what he needed. What robot does not realise is that the last active robot on the planet is himself. Robot still goes on with his chores as an error in the system is not allowing him to properly understand what's going on. For decades poor metal soul is doing everything it can to maintain life on this patch of land. For owner gone long time ago. One day he has to realise it as an alien spaceship touches down nearby to investigate a strange artificial signal which source appears to be in a human house unusually clean and maintained despite humanity's death. A short confrontation between the robot and aliens leads to the robot opening the door to his owner's room. A horrible sight which shakes robot's programming to the core. Being hit several times by alien weaponry robot got little time left, and as systems slowly shut down, the only thing he can do is embrace what is left of his owner. Final act of eternal loyalty to the human he cherished and cared about. Loyal, to the very end.
