It’s similar to the other models, select Yogurt setting at medium temp & ferment for 8 to 10 hrs. Close the pot with the pressure cooker lid.

Thanks for the insights. This room "2 Queen Beds with Sofa Bed and view of Niagara Falls & American Falls - Floor 40" was listed in Expedia for a cheaper price but the photos looked different when compared to the ones on the Embassy suites website. booked the one on the Hotel website to avoid any risk. Can't wait to enjoy the views and the fireworks!

Shouldn't be kept in the oven, the clay pan might crack so good to heat over stovetop. Hope this helps :)

Aren’t you supposed to add double the cups of water per cup of rice?? The rice won’t cook properly is you’re going the 1:1 ratio.

In the Instant Pot, don’t have to double the water, for 1 cup rice 1 1/4 cups water will suffice. More water will make the rice mushy.

Does all this info apply to today? Planning a trip there at end of June.... We will stay at one of the top 5 hotels on the Canada side ( haven't decided yet which one ) with falls view. Best bet on parking still at the casino? We will rent a car at Buffalo AP. Planning a day trip to Toronto also....

Not exactly an incentive to use one of these. I tried mine yesterday and as soon as I lifted it (because the bottom was burning, they all fell out into the pan. Made the rest as usual - quicker anyway.

As a first-time user, I was all set on the Duo Plus, but the silicone handles and stovetop/oven capable inner pot on the Pro did it for me. I really like the pulse venting feature on the Pro Plus but in my view, that alone is not worth an upgrade. I have no need for a WiFi capable pot. If only there was a 3qt Instant Pot Pro... :)

Great review! Can you please tell me if it is possible to set from the app so that after 10 minutes of Natural Release, it switches to Quick Release? Or, if this is not possible, can you change the pressure release mode directly from the app during cooking? Thank you!

On the app, we can select either quick or pulse steam release- no selection means it will do natural pressure release. There isn't an option to set to quick release after 10 minutes of natural release. However, we can change the release mode during cooking as well on the app. Hope this helps :)

I saw another review from someone who connected with an Android phone and couldn't change the pressure release mode directly from the app during cooking. That's why I suspect you're using an iPhone? Because the iOS app seems to have more options.

I had to double check, after reading your response I cooked in the IP pro plus 😊on the app we can select different pressure release modes. After setting the pressure release mode on the app, we won’t be able to change it through the app while cooking or after cooking. However, we can change it manually on the Instant Pot & it’ll reflect on the app. Sorry I was wrong before, so yeah it’s similar to the Android app.
