Less of the camera on you. Keep it on the painting while you are commenting. We want to watch more of how you paint. Very impressive.

Comparing the photo and the painting, I see that the horizon and therefore the perspective is different. Did you have another photo or you can change just from memory/knowledge?

I agree with these comments; Colley you really are a Master Artist/Painter. You handled the mid-ground beautifully (you're a tough critic to yourself). I have watched every single KZfaq post of yours and more. You're my idol oil painter🤩and such a fantastic teacher. Thank You!

Good work. Your skill in rendering a scene artistically certainly comes through. Personally, I know I would have completely bogged down in trying to paint every bloody upright on that white picket fence and trying to get every window in the top right building. Your videos teach me a lot.

Hi Colley, you have a great eye and a knack for rendering the hull shapes and sheer lines of boats. Also a lifelong love of mine coming from a harbor town (Marblehead). A quick question if I may? Was the under painting dry when you continued painting, and was the whole rest of the demo alla prima? Thanks for sharing these videos! Best Regards, Ted Hawkes

Thank you for sharing these great works. Your work on your own easel has the touch of class you talked about. I knew of David Curtis and Trevor Chamberlain. I really appreciate learning about the other artists and having a chance to learn more about their work.

Lovely little study Colley. I do like how you lifted out the lights more than the photo and it allowed a light background also. I personally love a pop of lime green. Green gets a bad wrap but can be so naturally beautiful.

Very nice-I like this approach with just narrating certain passages in the painting. It’s more peaceful than a lot of fast motion cuts, and easier to follow.

Dear Colley i love your art and I'm a brissy local too... i wanted to just suggest that its very good to add a wood sealant that you get from bunnings just a coat or 2 on both sides before you add the gesso coats... the sealant will just prevent any oil from seeping into the mdf board and making the bonds weaker over time... you just want collectors to hold on to your paintings as long as possible as your artworks are collectors choice.. . brisbane weather is absolutely horrible and moisture is unpredictable around the year so sealant will prevent the mdf from rotting

Oh isn’t Florence sublime and such a view! Your painting glows with light. And I love how one brushstroke conveys so much. Sorry you’re not well though, get well soon! And the ups n downs of travelling …. when I was a student visiting Florence the atms were down for a couple of days so I couldn’t get any money out- had to busk to get enough money for meals, and slept on the train to Siena and back! At least you’re in the warmth… Blizzards here this weekend in my part of Oz. Hope the rest of your trip goes smoothly and look forward to more videos!
