Jason Noble told me at a show at north 6th in Brooklyn that "quiet victories" was the Shipping news equivalent to the ultimate party song when it hits the mosh part with Jeff M. That has stuck with me for a quarter of a century now. "this is not an exit" also hits that JM dissonance, ill sounding ressonance and hollow body guitar mastery that can only be described by the laws of sound. The GODS OF ROCK as far as I'm concerned. RODAN, RACHELS (1st 3 albums) Shipping NEWS all of them. Just never got into June of 44. Not heavy enough for me taste. Jeff, if you see this. Hit me on the radio brother. They were a local duo here in Bethlehem. Jason passed away from cancer a few years ago. I got this CD when they played out locally. Check reverbnation links and reach out to Luke Wolk to see if they recorded anymore.
