I played this song at my stillborn daughter's funeral. It was the most hardest thing I've ever been through. My ex husband never wanted a baby girl so that made it easy for him.

Why does Jonette look like Michael Steele from the Bangles in this video..?

That's Lee fields. Thought he reminded me of someone. And that guitar. I've heard it sampled somewhere

This woman's voice is so enchanting. They should have been even bigger. What talent in this band.

Timeless perfection! I think I heard this randomly on a sampler compilation or something and the next thing you know it's been on my playlist for 20+ years from CD mixes through the many MP3 players since.

This is my favorite Concrete Blonde song. I absolutely love Johnette's voice on this tune. It instantly takes me back to my youth when times were simpler and more joyful.

The magic band. I can't believe that they played in my hometown in Australia and I was there, not knowing what I was seeing ... just another little dance club on planet earth. But they were tired and still put on a great show, so professional.

So great! And as stated by so many, so underrated. Never really got the explosion they deserved. Johnette's voice is in the top with all the greats. That hypnotic guitar is so luxurious. Damn they were great.

Thanks Google, I've spent literally 20 years (at least) searching for the band who played that song. Now I'm gonna play it over and over again and learn it to sing it!

I was in college when Concrete Blonde was in its heyday. Loved the band then and I am so glad to hear that Johnette is doing well and working with therapy animals. I have a niece on that track who will soon watch horses stampede in Calgary. Best wishes to you and your band members
